I didn't put any of those in my list because I don't really watch any of those (in fact, I usually avoid them) but HiDive does have some of those if that's what you're looking for. In fact, it might have the most shameless, most trashy, most power-fantasy-y isekai in all of existence in the form of The Eminence In Shadow. I've heard good things about that show, but I'll never watch it myself.

Lupin is awesome, I would recommend what Calwings did though and start from part 4 and watch it from that point on. And if you really like it, then go back and watch the old ones. I would also recommend dub in general for the series, but I may be biased because my intro to Lupin was the old dubbed episodes airing on Adult Swim in the early 00s.

If we're talking about the Lupin dub, then keep in mind that part 3 isn't dubbed at all and part 2's dub (the one that aired on Adult Swim in the early 00's) is incomplete, so you'd have to switch to subbed eventually if you want to watch the entire franchise. The modern parts 4-6 are fully dubbed though (because they aired on Toonami and that's how I watched them) and IMO those dubs are pretty good.

Only the Jets could complete a 50+ yard hail mary that results in the other team getting 7 points. That was butt-fumble-esque in its absurdity.

Aside from the Fountain hit killing Runick decks and Drident to 3 being fun for the very few Zoodiac players left out there (myself included), most of this list seems like minor tweaks that will barely affect anything in the long run. I just dismantled all of my Runick decks and cards (except Fountain itself, gonna wait until the limit kicks in to get the bonus) and now I feel like using all of that UR material to build a new deck.

How's Swordsoul these days? I don't have any Synchro-focused decks on either of my accounts, and that's the one that seems most interesting to me.

God yes. That was some Bray Wyatt shit right there. I normally don't like random jumpscares, but that Nui jumpscare was amazing and really sold how unhinged and powerful she was at that point. She was able to break the fourth wall even harder than ever before.

Wow...what a show. So much good stuff to say about it. The story and escalation was top notch, the characters were great and the ending felt well-deserved (I'm genuinely tearing up). The fact that they managed to keep a constant hype level was amazing.

What I really liked in particular is how this was almost as much about the E4 and Satsuki as it was about Ryouko. Such a strong supporting cast is something I haven't really seen a lot. That, to me, makes it a top 5 anime imo

I'm so glad you ended up liking it so much. KLK really is an amazing show, still (IMO) Trigger's best work ever, and more people need to look past its fanservice-y exterior and see how amazing it is underneath. It's not quite in my top 5 favorite anime of all time, but it's definitely in my top 10.

Oh, Nui is definitely a gremlin. In the Japanese version, she's voiced by Yukari Tamura, who's the perfect VA to voice "cute on the outside but bloodthirsty and/or insane on the inside" characters. I like the show slightly better with the English dub overall, but Nui was the highlight of the Japanese version for me.

SKy Strikers are one of those decks I actually love playing against with the Stun Deck. They really arent that big of a threat. Inspector Boarder or Fossil Dyna and a few negate on the board and they cant really fight back. If they cant get to the links, they really dont have a path to victory.

Stun players like you are why I play a ton of board breakers and why I still have 2 copies of Red Reboot crafted.

The theory goes that, since Pi contains an infinite series of seemingly random digits, if you calculate it far enough it should be seen to contain every possible sequence of numbers, including strings that would translate to the works of Shakespeare, your childhood diary, or a recipe for a really good apple pie. Even after calculating Pi to 100 trillion digits, mathematicians still can't prove that the distribution of numbers is truly random, so this idea does remain purely theoretical.

Inspired by that theory - plus things like Twitch Plays Pokemon and that Siamese fighting fish which beat Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire - a Twitch channel called WinningSequence started running 'Pi Plays Pokemon Sapphire' in October 2021. "Every digit between 0-9 is mapped to a button and fed into the game per each second, making the number in question automatically play the game," according to the channel description.

As of this story, Pi Plays Pokemon Sapphire has run through nearly 62.3 million digits, and still hasn't managed to leave the starting town. It's regularly gotten to the opening route, fighting enough random battles to get its Sceptile up to level 77, and it's even made it up to Oldale Town and Route 103 at least once, but it keeps getting stuck back in Littleroot Town. That's not amazing progress, admittedly, but that Sceptile will absolutely rock the starting gym if it ever gets a chance to fight.

Unfortunately, the number Pi is not as good at playing Pokemon as a fish, which managed to beat the game in slightly over 3,000 hours.

After MW 2019, I know to never buy an Infinity Ward CoD game again (which is why I didn't waste money on MW2 2022 last year after how awful that beta was) and to wait for a bit after launch before I buy any CoD games from the other studios to see how they launch. I tried MW3's beta, I liked it, I saw that the full game launched with flaws but still with that same fun core gameplay, I watched some videos and heard some opinions on the multiplayer, I bought it, and I still like it.

All of that is gone now, yet MW3 is still the campiest CoD I've played since Ghosts.

My experience has been totally different. It's only campy on the worst maps like Estate and Derail that were already garbage in the original MW2 13 years ago. On most maps, the game is a lot more fast-paced, I never feel like I'm getting punished for moving around, and I can often outplay them with my movement. I'm losing more gunfights to people who have better movement skills than me than I am to campers.

They're just one symptom (and the most notable symbol) of what MW 2019 and MW2 2022 did to CoD. Both of those games slowed the core gameplay down to a snail's pace that favors defensive players (AKA campers) and punishes aggressive players. Slower movement speeds, slower aim down sight speeds, slower aim walking speeds, the Ghost perk keeps you off the radar even when not moving, claymores and mines are infinitely replenishable by the Restock perk, louder footsteps and no Dead Silence as a a perk (plus doors that need to be opened and make a lot of noise when doing so) means the campers can easily hear you coming and pre-aim the door/corner... need I go on?

Treyarch and Sledgehammer actually know how to make fun, fast-paced CoD multiplayer, while Infinity Ward and their door fetishist boss Joe Cecot are trying to turn it into a poor man's Rainbow Six to the detriment of the entire franchise.

Neither. I'm only slightly above average, with a K/D hovering somewhere between 1.1 and 1.3 in the older (pre-SBMM) CoD games, varying a bit depending on the game. I'm not amazing, but I'm not bad either.

Ghosts was absolute garbage. It was easily my least favorite CoD game of all time until Modern Doorfare 2019 and Modern Doorfare Roman Numeral Two 2022 Electric Boogaloo: It's Doorbin' Time joined it in the garbage tier. Fuck all three of those games and fuck Infinity Ward.

MW3 has a ton of issues on the technical side of things. There's bugs and glitches. The armory credits system for unlocks sucks. The campaign is shit, but I don't care about the campaign anyways. Zombies is a mixed bag but has potential. The SBMM/EOMM/whatever sucks, but that's from the higher-ups and Sledgehammer has no say in that. There's no doubt that MW3 has a lot of flaws.

But based on the beta and the couple of days I've been playing the full game, I think the core multiplayer gameplay is really good and really fun. I'm enjoying it far more than any CoD MP in recent memory, and when the core gameplay is this fun, I can overlook the flaws around it a lot easier.

I'd much rather have a fun but flawed game like MW3 than a slow, dull, boring, unfun, polished turd of a game like last year's MW2.

Agreed. Gurren Lagann was a 9/10 for me (the finale was more hype though) but Kill La Kill is one of the few anime that I've ever given a 10/10.

The problem is that this strategy just straight up doesn't work in Maddening difficulty. Enemies won't target units they do zero damage to or have no chance to hit. So they just ignore her. Which means you have to manage her avoid to keep it low enough to not realistically get hit, because she gets ripped apart by basically anything, but not too high so she doesn't get ignored. And she'll do just insignificant damage with her low strength.

So she doesn't see a lot of combat or get kills, so she's really only leveling through Great Sacrifice spam and that's a pretty limited resource. So odds are she'll be completely out performed by Zelkov when you get him who just does Yunaka's deal better.

Now on Hard Mode, 0 Hit Dodge-tanking works and enemies are much less bulky so Yunaka's stock rises a ton. She'll still probably get outclassed by Zelkov when you get him though.

Fair enough. I didn't know Maddening had that different AI (I'm not good enough at FE to beat Maddening, Hard is about right for me) but that does make sense that she would be less useful if enemies would just straight-up ignore her.

Siegfeld would definitely be my pick to get their own spin-off. They could potentially even do 2 seasons, S1 for the original 5 girls and then S2 working in the new batch of 5 girls that they added to the game last year. A mix of both Siegfeld and Rinmeikan could also work, since Shiori's older sister Fumi transferred from Siegfeld to Rinmeikan and could easily be the main thread connecting the two schools in the story.

Isn't there a Yunaka build that makes her dodge nearly everything and crit a lot? I forgot the details to make it, but I know I used it and she was MVP of that playthrough.

Yunaka with Corrin's emblem ring. She generates fog with Corrin's ability that increases her avoid, and she also gets higher crit when she's on a tile that increases avoid. Outside of being bombarded by chain attacks from several backup units (which have a flat accuracy no matter how much avoid you have) she's nearly unkillable. Her low defense doesn't matter if she dodges almost everything that comes her way, and her low strength doesn't hurt as much because daggers gain a lot more bonuses from forging and she also gets more critical hits. Plus, even if she doesn't get the kills on those enemies she's tanking, you can just have your other units come in and kill the weakened enemies on your turn.

I know, right!? The TV series was already a masterpiece worthy of being in my top 5 favorite anime of all time, but the movie was on a whole other level and elevated Revue Starlight from my top 5 to my undisputed #1 favorite. My favorite revue was the Maya/Claudine one, but they were all amazing.

God yes. I was lucky enough to be able to watch the movie in a theater during its limited run, and the Hikari/Mahiru revue was by far the one that was most enhanced by the theater surround sound. During the chase scene, it sounded almost like Mahiru was right behind me and it was scary as hell.

Overall a very nice end to the series, though I do wish for more.

I would love to see more from the franchise, like maybe a spin-off focused on one or a couple of the schools from the mobile game. But I think the story of the main Seisho cast ended so well that I hope they don't continue it.

I've played all of the ones released in the US, plus Binding Blade on GBA and New Mystery of the Emblem on DS which were Japan-only. The only FE games that I haven't experienced at all, either through their original releases or their modern remakes, are Genealogy and Thracia.
