No you have to acquire a digital license for the game on your account somehow, either through outright purchasing it or the game being added to one of the tiers of PS Plus and you bring subbed to that tier of PS Plus.

It means you don't have to waste time downloading a game if you've already played it/installed it using a disc and still have that installation on your console/external storage. This is a massive change for people with data caps and/or slower internet.

Like for example I played Horizon: Forbidden West using a disc copy originally. I sold the disc, but I still have that install sitting on my external storage, and now with this update I can finally use it to play the game via PS Plus rather than having to delete the install and download a 90 GB copy of the game just to play it again.

No the PS4 had the same thing. You have to delete the disc install to download the digital copy, or vice-versa.

And it's even more of a pain on the PS4 because you can't use the PS App to manage your storage space remotely, unlike with the PS5.

The opening moments of Lightfall are some of its best, as Destinys long-awaited final villain, The Witness, arrives in our solar system to deal a blow against humanity and our allies. But any excitement is quickly swept into the vacuum of space as youre bizarrely and inexplicably redirected from the action to take part in a seemingly unrelated sidequest in the Neptunian city of Neomuna. Not only is the story a decidedly low stakes diversion that draws you away from the real conflict happening on Earth, but it flatout does not make sense. Thats not just me saying that, either; some of the Destiny communitys greatest lore minds have been completely stumped by the utter nonsense of Lightfallss story.

Much of Destinys moment-to-moment gameplay remains unchanged with Lightfall, and five years into this sequel thats a growing problem. If you look at some of my older reviews of Destiny 2s expansions like Shadowkeep, you might be confused why I called that underwhelming expansion Good, while being much more critical about this one. The main reason is that games (and my reviews of them) dont exist without context not only are many video games getting more impressive, Destiny specifically has raised the bar on itself over the years, especially with The Witch Queen. What was novel in 2019 has become tiresome four years on, and at this point Destinys predictable formula feels worse by its refusal to evolve (or in Lightfalls case: its insistence on regressing). So while an expansion thats probably worse than Lightfall by todays standards genuinely felt good to me several years ago, an expansion thats similarly disappointing feels downright gut-wrenching in 2023.

This is supposed to be Destiny 2's penultimate DLC.

How PS5 disc installs work is that if you have your PS5 connected to the internet, it will always install a portion of a game off the disc, and then the rest off the internet. It does that because normally with a average internet connection speed nowadays this will get the full game installed faster than any current disc reader or whatever reading speed can.

However, if someone is dealing with some jank internet (which is understandable. There is still way too m any areas in ol' murica' where someone is stuck out in the middle of nowhere and the only thing available is slow ass satellite internet or like, having to use a mobile phone hotspot or something), then this will end up being slow as shit, like with what the TC showed lmao.

If you want your PS5 to install the initial data all off the disc, then intentionally disconnect your PS5 off the internet. Just uncheck the connect to internet box in your PS5 network settings and its going to be a good deal faster getting everything installed off disc.

Yes, I really wish Sony made it more clear this is what happens with PS5 disc installs, especially considering it only happens with games that actually let you play a portion of the game before it's fully installed.

However the main problem with Hogwarts Legacy is that the entire game isn't even on the disc in the first place. If you disconnect from the internet and just install what's on the disc, it's about 59 GB of data, and then there's a mandatory update that's like 35 GB in size that needs to be downloaded once you reconnect to the internet.

What are the odds it wasn't actually a "hack"? Pretty high?

I'm pretty sure past Pokmon are imaginary Pokmon brought to life. Their dex entries mention their descriptions come from dubious sources so it's more like someone thinking every prehistoric Pokmon has to look like a dinosaur.

Brute Bonnet is the only other one that's actually described as looking like a "dinosaur". But even then, it looks way closer to Amoonguss than Walking Wake does to Suicune.

It should be able to convert the disc-installed version to a digital version. It's dumb that it can't especially considering a lot of these disc-installed versions actually download a huge chunk of the game from PSN to begin with now if they have a "Ready to Play" point included in the install.
