According to Texas law, he already committed the crime when he approached the decoy, going to the sting house was not necessary. Officers went to the house to arrest him and thats when he shot himself. Yup and he sent the decoy a bunch of CP as well. The county sheriff jumped the gun on going to his house because arresting a state prosecutor would have looked good on his resume. |

His chat log was like 400 pages with the decoy just saying stuff like kewl and okay. Almost all of them would send the decoys unsolicited dick picks. and yeah they fucked up by going to that prosecutors house which ultimately led to the shows cancellation. |

Like 15 years ago they made me kinda mad because I used to be huge into the TCAP community but like 50% of these guys reoffended years after the show stopped. Most of them got light sentences because they never actually did any physical. The predators from the Texas sting got off because a state prosecutor killed himself because the cops came to his house. Probably the only time the show fucked up and NBC cancelled the show. |

The decoys never initiate contact and NBC is not law enforcement. The predators are never forced to come over the house they just cant control their hornyness. |
