They call it the Lumberjack. It's a bacon egg and cheese, or a sausage egg and cheese with a hashbrown in the sandwich. I'm pretty addicted to them. When I go and they don't have them it ruins my day.

Well, today was the first not great one I've had. The bun was burnt and it was kind of dry all around. It's the first time it wasn't amazing, and I didn't feel right taking a picture of it.

Serves me right for talking it up a bunch, I guess.

There's a place in town here that does a grilled tenderloin or pork chop and egg on a homemade biscuit for breakfast and it's amazing.

I make a similar one myself at home. Two buttered toast, one egg over easy, two slices of cheddar cheese, three strips of bacon, scoop of hashbrowns, and then I top it with some pepper and hot sauce. Sometimes it will keep me full until dinner.

nice. i use:

  • 3/4 cup egg substitute
  • 1 slice of velveeta cheese
  • 2 breakfast sausages
  • 1 whole wheat tortilla
  • 2 tbsp light sour cream
  • 2 tbsp salsa


i use egg substitute because it's much less calories, and it actually taste pretty good. i use velveeta cheese for the same reason, less calories than real cheese.
