That was the point I was trying to make.

People were cutting the cord because streaming was a cheaper option. But then it splintered so many times that in order to get everything you originally got with a cable/internet package, you end up paying the same amount.

So I'm not "going to bat" for anyone. Just pointing out the costs basically being the same if you were to try to mirror what the average cable package offers.

But I didn't watch 80% of the channels I got when I paid for cable in the first place. I get way more things that I care about just paying $40 for multiple services which is still under half of what I paid for cable
