Gundam Wing was probably Toonamis 3rd biggest show after DBZ and Sailor Moon but the latter two were also on all the local stations and I dont think Heeros necessarily universally beloved. Plus its been almost 20 goddamn years.

Kingdom Hearts II looked pretty great in 2015 and whereas Ansem got into Villains pretty much by default, I think people might actually like Xemnas? Not enough to get him into a character battle though, obviously.

Was tempted to go LAW but he's at least in MvC3 and I know little about that game so for all I know he's super popular there.

With how far the average GSC pokemon probably is below RBY, that Skarmory wasn't in Gold, and that most people (who weren't probably going to vote the Pokemon no matter what) have no history with competitive battles, I don't really trust Skarmory.

Metal Slug/SV-001 (Metal Slug) - LAW fodder
Meaningful name for a really weak but sort of recognizable franchise but it's also a not-really-a-joke object. Also unless you really devote yourself to the game the tank is generally not gonna last that long. I could see Caim beating this thing.
Wigglytuff (Pokemon) - Mid fodder
Jigglypuff is notable enough that its evolution might not be too bad.

Unlike most bosses of his era, hes got a name given in-game and some dialogue. Also a pretty memorable fight, though in part its due to the dick move pulled if you lose. And then theres more afterwards! Could certainly see LAW fodder though. Absolutely nobody gives a damn about this dude as a character.

Wind Waker didn't just get SFFed by Melee in 2009, it got nearly doubled twice. It's also lost every Gamecube poll we've ever had. They could be sorta close in strength but it's clearly not ever winning that match.

Also, Wind Waker in 2015's x-stat value runs through FFVI, which we assume got SFFed by FFVII. However FFVI's value was assigned it probably isn't worth taking that seriously even by x-stats standards. There's a bonus poll you could use to try to adjust but IIRC even that had some notable offsite influence.

Not sure why franchise hierarchies are being taken so seriously after Super Metroid almost beat Majora's Mask.

New Leaf was in Persona 5's division in GotD2 and is projected to get right around doubled by the latter.

FFVII remake currently has 62% on New Horizons here. I'd figure New Horizons is at least as strong as New Leaf and FFVII remake probably has overlap with Persona 5 Royal in this poll if nothing else.

Fighting games did very poorly too. It was made worse because the fans were dumb and nominated the games they were currently playing over ones from the same developers people actually liked better. SFV and MK11 over UMvC3 and MK9 were the wrong choices.
