I ended up making a little Playstation-Direct type playlist for her, with 23 different game trailers/teasers/previews, and that one got a thumbs up from her (13 thumbs up, 3 maybes by the end of it). She just turned 12, and from what I can tell; Pokemon-like games (Pokemon/World of Final Fantasy), building/creation (Minecraft/pixark/Mario Maker/Legos/drawing), dinosaurs (lots of dinosaur toys), and cats (bunch of those Freemium android games with animals). Already got her Horizon Zero Dawn (she was enthralled with that & Spiderman when I visited family last year), and Tearaway Unfolded, so she has a few games to keep her busy, but can't help but want to introduce her to more quality games. --- |

Also, unless it just hasn't updated yet, tokens from the previous event don't carry over either (like they have the last couple times) Edit: Earning tokens is worse too - "You will be granted Festivity Tokens when you fund your Steam Wallet (during the sale) or make a purchase using non-Steam Wallet funds." So those that upped their steam wallet (or sold a bunch of stuff on the market) in prep for the sale get screwed --- |
