The biggest risk at that point in the game was that MI was doing another crazy scum gambit (two of which we had seen already) and was serving up his scumbuds to gain favor for late game.

Also Cop was so pro-scum in this game that by the time he lived to D5, it was better for him alive, so he would've had the perfect excuse for why he made it to final 4. We couldn't let scum do the job for us, so we HAD to do it.

If MI was in the final four I still wouldn't have lynched him

Why would he assume that? I don't remember what Arti's position on you two was, but I had been fairly clear about having a town read on you. Like, I said that a lot. It was only during the night phase where I thought about the SE lynched and started to think it cleared Donker. He had no particular reason to think a lynch on you would just go off without a hitch

Thats even worse! They could claim a power role and then get tracker verified too! Besides, you can psss that off as them being town power not wanting to get killed by scum at night! No one lynches a cop verified thief verified player over being tracked to a non dead body!

No. Some of our fellow town members though there was too much power already and we know that all of them are town now. Scum claiming a power role would be a death sentence

The problem is we will have to bet the game on an assumption anyway. Did Sceptile really only bus on day one and get bussed by three people on his scum team? It also seems odd as well if Sceptile/ColZach is scum.

I disagree. Crescent did not look good after she completely went inactive as scum was getting mowed down. It's part of the reason why I joined on the SE lynch that time because I didn't trust her for a while after that.

The only thing I can think of for that is that SE is immune to the two scans we had (since they killed Shad adnd Scare to prevent those) and that he just bussed Donker to make himself look better. Corrik was very anti-MI and FD didn't like Death so leaving both scanners would have probably confused us a good deal if he survived.

Regardless of all the digging I've done on Sceptile, I still think I'm more confident on Donk being scum here instead of ColZach. I think it just makes more sense at this point given how the game has played out so far.

Would he only vote for his teammates, never a single town player, if he were scum? Even in a short sample size due to replacing out fairly early that seems a bit odd.

I don't know. Through most of the game I thought no he would not, along with most people in the game.

Sceptile only voted Deadpool and Chris day one, ending the day on Chris. Those are his only votes until he was replaced.

And after that, you know, he was replaced at the start of day 3.

I dunno if we just forgot about him once Chris flipped scum. Think it's definitely possible for puns, Han and Chris to bus a good deal on d1. Plus there's a post by Han in topic 1 that gets brought up a lot - and it would only have one scum on it if Sceptile wasn't scum.

I'm still thinking at the moment.

I've looked over Sceptile's day two. He was pretty much a non-factor during most of the day, not many posts and no votes on anyone. Leo started the day on him because of Chris's death (and Chris was believed to be town) and puns was on him later on.

Whatever you guys have on sceptile I obviously cannot comment on but I do not suggest that you should not use it to influence your decision.

This is absolute bullshit. Sceptile's actions reflect on you. Obviously, his meta also applies (for instance, if someone replaced in for Corrik, you don't lynch them for not being aggresive), but if Sceptile did scummy things, the replace doesn't affect that.

What's wrong with that? He isn't Sceptile so he doesn't know what Sceptile was thinking, and he says we can use the meta to influence our decision. That's all completely fine from what I see.

I've been thinking about Sceptile on day one a lot. If he was scum gf, he is probably the weakest member of the team in terms of power roles.

So why not bus the weakest member of scum, come out of day one looking really well, and have the Chris gambit in your back pocket in case of puns dying. They had to switch to prof because he was the only one who gained any traction, but MI and Corrik destroyed the gambit efficiently.

In previous days I was thinking it was between FD and Donker because of confirmed town and good reads on MI and Scept, but I think I should look a little more at Scept's play going forward past day one before continuing.

Cleared all the lotus stuff because lotus farming was a complete joke, but didn't come close to finishing the first half items. Left about 250 mana prisms, a bunch of skill gems, the black beast grease and the hero proofs in the shop.

That was my point. Corrik thought i was town (correct), Alakazam was town (correct), and thought puns and pool were town (incorrect). Unless they Flip scanner, a dead town thinking that someone is town means nothing, even if theyre mafia god in human form with a 1% error ratio.

This is blatantly wrong though. Looking over the opinions of dead town is still helpful in trying to find scum.

Well I guess ISOing MI is worthless now.

However we all know MI is town and all his scans are legit and all of us have been scanned innocent so there's a godfather. Right now I think Panthera and ColZach are the town members (and if they're scum they've played pretty well) and that NewDonk is the scum.

I could place a vote since there's only one scum left but I'll refrain from doing so until everyone has arrived.

I appreciate this ISO, and it makes me want to lynch MI even less.

Arti, when you have a chance what are your donk thoughts?

I don't really have strong feelings on Donk, but he seemed like the obvious person out when comparing everyone so far. I did dislike him jumping on lynches day three without too much explanation, but he also has the Crescent lynch day in his favor by being the alternative lynch that day.

Continuing with topic three, MI says "I think my vote should actually be of some consequence and not be on someone who is afk. Sorry that it bothers you two so much." This is after he told people not to forget about prof when Leo voted DYL, and then agreed with Shad that a lot of the prof votes were disappearing because he was inactive. I tell him it's not a good reason to stop (especially after his big post on prof) and vote prof myself instead.

Zam votes Corrik here for dumb reasons, and MI tells him that Zam said in this game that Corrik is very valuable to have around. Zam later goes back to Chris and says "To me it's claim or be lynched" and MI again attacks him by saying that Zam doesn't think these people are scum but is voting them anyway. Normally I'd agree here but I think MI has conveniently forgotten why he was on prof here in the first place. He then votes Zam here, not a good look. Leo also comments, saying he strongly dislikes MI's vote. He later unvotes saying he's torn on who to lynch after DYL also votes Zam for similar reasons. Leo later uses both of these votes to say that Zam is being used as a scum mislynch.

MI is asked about his prof and Chris reads a few pages later (no posts from MI during that span) and MI says prof is his strongest scum read and Chris is maybe a slight town read. I call him out for sheeping Chris, and MI shrugs it off saying he hasn't.

MI then responds to Chris about foolmo, saying he doesn't understand foolmo and was unclear on his reasoning. Scept posts some more, Chris tells red to vote for Scept, who responds "sceptile would be bussing harder at this point." Made no sense to me since he wasn't even near any of the top lynches and MI comments on this.

In a later post Chris says MI "has been pro me despite going out of his way to not say he is pro me", echoing what I said earlier.

After votals, MI states his reads on all the people on the prof and Chris lynches. All the flipped scum that were on either were listed as positive (Crescent, prof, and Chris). Corrik and Death were slightly positive, and 3 flipped town and NewDonk were negative. MI later asks Han why he's voting Shad and Han decides to be a jerk like he was doing all game and not clarifying anything he was saying.

Topic 4 starts. MI finally decides to vote prof after Leo gets on (19m left of d1). Though he is tempted to vote Sceptile when Han tries a splinter, he stays the course until the end of day one.

Since most of my MI town read is based on things after day one, it's no wonder that I have forgotten a lot of what happened on this day, and besides him going after prof early on he falters a bit later and trips over the things he had already said. His vote on Zam was also really bad, and Leo definitely took notice of it and said it erased any goodwill he had with MI.

I can definitely see why Corrik has been so hung up with MI now after reading this, but I'll continue this tomorrow because most of what I think about MI was from the future days and I want to factor that in as well. Will start earlier so I can finish before the deadline.

Do look at that bolded statement above, though. That really stood out to me when I was looking back.

First post by MI in topic 2 was him going after past games by Zam, and he finds a post that Zam makes saying he does not support claiming day one, of course after he had already done so in this game. Prof latches on to that post even with a ton of votes falling on him. Crescent thinks MI is town, and agrees that prof should claim, but doesn't vote. They discuss about Nana a bit, MI's opinion on Nana falls perfectly with how I think - useless and afraid to post as scum. Thought Nana was town for most of the game here.

MI then makes a big post about prof, talking about all the things he's found with all his posts, including the votes with little to go on and how he talked about Corrik and Zam exclusively even when dealing with reads on other players.

Leo unvotes prof on the next page to pressure DYL a bit, and MI supports it but says not to forget about prof.

Corrik again states that MI and Chris are scum together while voting Chris. Death asks why, and MI says it's because "I don't want to lynch Chris today". Corrik then says it's because MI is soft defending Chris, and quotes a few posts proving his point. He says that after Chris snapped at MI for doing so, MI started attacking the "scummy looking townies" in prof and zam. Red agrees with Corrik on the following page.

After foolmo posts his big reveal with all his reads, MI comments on the nine scum reads, then asks why Nana is on his town list, but doesn't really follow it up. He later calls me out for unvoting Zam saying my reasoning is off. I thought Zam voting Chris there and actually putting the vote down made him seem more like town to me >_>

Votals are posted, and Shad immediately says that many of the prof votes have vanished and says he's idling out on purpose, and MI agrees with him. MI also attacks Sceptile here for his vote on Chris, saying that he seems too certain. This is also one of the points that strengthens the MI/Chris connection, as Chris voted Sceptile a bit before that. Foolmo notices this and points it out, saying that MI should've voted Sceptile beforehand but only did it when Chris laid the vote down.

MI says after voting Sceptile that pressure on prof is pointless because his timestamp isn't even updating. I call him out for using typical board 8 reasoning on inactive players.

Seeped into topic 3 just a bit since those last two points were important. It's the first slip-up I've seen (though Corrik had some more) where MI links himself to Chris a bit too much, and then hangs up his prof lynch (a scum lynch) to chase Sceptile who is town. While the rest of the topic was very good in regards to MI, I don't like how it ended. Both of his actions here seem more like scum than town. I'm also interested in red's read. He didn't post much on day one and was killed on night one anyway, and posted that he thought MI and Chris were scum together like Corrik did. People have a hard time believing Corrik so he's still around, but red is a better player than him.
