I can wait.

I'll start taking note of all the choices I make in the next 10 years and how they turn out better/worse than I had hoped. Then one of my wishes will be to travel back 10 years (or more) and I'll have my notes to do it better. Among other things. I'd have 10 years to think of real meaningful wishes, too. I feel like if I was put on the spot and had to choose something right away I'd end up making a bad choice and wasting the wish.

I am annoyed by most "grooming" things that have to be done on a regular basis -- shaving, brushing teeth, showering, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I do them regularly, brushing twice a day, nail clipping, shower, all that shit. I just don't like doing it.

Yeah, shaving is another one. It doesn't give me the same 'gross' sensation, but it is just really annoying. I've been getting pretty lazy about it lately, too. Especially since I'm wearing a mask whenever I leave the house anyway, so you can't really even see it. It's a catch-22, though. The longer I wait before shaving, the more annoying the shave becomes with the longer hairs. >_<

Do you enjoy taking showers?

Like I get the impression that people mostly enjoy taking showers. They find it to be a pleasant experience. But I can't stand it. I have this weird thing where I just feel gross when I'm wet, especially my hands. And no matter how much I dry off afterwards, I still feel damp and uncomfortable for like an hour after a shower. It's unpleasant, and I can't stand the sensation.

But I DO shower regularly, especially if I'm going out in public anywhere, because I'm not a slob and I know the people around me can smell when I haven't. I also have psoriasis on my scalp and my underarms, which makes it basically impossible for me to wear deodorant (it flares up really bad and gets almost painful if I put anything on my armpits, and believe me I've tried all of them). So yeah, staying clean and reducing BO is an obvious requirement.

So if I plan on leaving the house at any point in the day, I will take a shower. It's just a very unpleasant sensation for me, and I just kinda have to suck it up and deal with it. Am I the only one like this?

If they feel like they're not getting enough representation/clout in the government currently, imagine how they'd feel after they try (and fail, miserably) to secede and have most of the representation they do have ripped away from them?

If they feel like second-class citizens right now, they would actually become second-class citizens if they tried anything this stupid.

Personally, I say "fuck 'em." Anybody stupid enough to think secession would go well for them in any way deserves to have their voice in governance ignored because they're clearly not intelligent enough to handle the responsibility.

Pay for my parents to tear down the old house and build a new one like they've been talking about for a decade now.
Pay off my brother's house.
Put together college funds for my niece and nephew, so my brother and his wife don't ever have to worry about their kids' education.
Buy myself a new car for the first time in my life. Nothing extravagant, mind you, just a new Camry or something sensible like that. I'm just tired of dealing with the maintenance hassles of used cars with 100k+ miles already on them.
Donate a decent amount to a few reputable charities.

After that, I find a financial advisor and put the vast majority of it into a savings portfolio and pretty much just live off of the interest. I'd leave it all in a 50/50 split to my niece and nephew in my will, or my brother if I go first.

I think there's a difference between "beating" a game and "completing" a game.

You "beat" a game by defeating the final boss. You "complete" a game by finishing all side-quests, unlocking all upgrades, etc.

So I guess for a roguelike, completing 1 full run and defeating the final boss would count as "beating" the game for me.

It strikes me as the kind of game I want to play while it still has all kinds of exploits and glitches to take advantage of.

Like I've seen videos of people abusing systems to stack so much armor that you literally can't take damage, or so much crit damage that you can 1-shot everything in the game using sneak attacks with the starting pistol. That kind of stuff is funny to me and I thoroughly enjoy those kinds of exploits.

But I can't bring myself to buy the game and support a developer who so unabashedly took advantage of their fanbase and released such a broken, unfinished mess. At the same time, I feel like if I wait too long to pick it up most of those exploits will be patched out and it won't be as entertaining for me anymore.

I'd be alright if we'd gotten the ball back and just not been able to get into the endzone.

But there's no other way to put it: the defense fucking choked. That was an embarrassing final drive for the Browns defense. No excuses, they choked the game away. And it fucking hurts.

Thats all part of the Browns experience.

XD You're not wrong.

I'm just sick of seeing the same thing happen over and over. Every year there's a new coach and they spend the entire off-season saying "This if the AFC North. We play tough, control the line, and run the ball." Then they come out and throw it 50+ times every game and I'm sitting here thinking "dafuq happened to ground-and-pound?"

It's been better this year, obviously. Most of the season they stuck to the run game and rode Chubb/Hunt to success. But it still seems like in critical moments they give up on the run too easily. The first half of this game is a perfect example. And the moment they came out of halftime and started running the ball, the whole complexion of the game changed.

Just doesn't seem like rocket science to me. You've got the best 1-2-punch of runningbacks in the league and it's been working all season, so keep using them.

I dont think the Browns are going to fight their way back against the chiefs. As a Browns fan either way im so happy with this season. They got to the playoffs and even beat their biggest rivals. They have something good to build off and for once its actually been proven.

Oh yeah, it's not the end of the world of course. Still frustrating, though.

They don't have the time to dick around with the running game

  1. It's a 2-score game and you've got an entire half left. That's plenty of time.
  2. They should have been running the ball from the first drive.
  3. They just started running and they look like an entirely different team already.

I'm obviously rooting for my Browns, but I really don't think they're gonna get it done.

And that first drive didn't give me much hope, tbh. Tried getting way too cute with the playcalling. This Chiefs defense is not good at all. You don't need misdirection and trickiness. Just run them over.

Of course, Browns defense is also overrated garbage and has been all season. Chiefs will score pretty much at will. We just have to try and keep up.

That is approximately 1,438 rolls per day. That is a ton of work in 1 day that you can probably get done using up most of the hours in a day. However, that is 1 day. You have 364 days remaining. You also must be diligent the entire year not to lose a single quarter

That's not even close to correct.

$50m = 5 million $10 rolls of quarters.
5,000,000 / 365 = 13,698.63 rolls per day.
That's 570.77 rolls per hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for an entire year straight. Even with 4 people rolling them, each individual would have to average more than 2 coin rolls per minute, every minute, for an entire year non-stop.

It's not physically possible.
