Aressar

It's a fine movie that really doesn't deserve all the bashing it gets (no pun intended), and much, much better than Hulk (2003). The main problem is that the Hulk as a character doesn't have much depth to him, at least compared to the other Avenger characters, so that makes it kind of difficult to make an interesting film with him as the main protagonist.

As for the events that take place, it's true that the movie isn't essential for following the Avengers storyline, though I do think it adds depth to the growth of Bruce Banner's relation to the Hulk:
Banner starts out trying to contain the Hulk and prevent him from emerging at all costs. At the end you see the beginning of him trying to control the Hulk instead, which leads to him being somewhat able to trigger his transformation at will by the time of the first Avengers movie ("I'm always angry").
And in Endgame this growth finally (albeit somewhat unexpectedly) ends up with Banner and the Hulk basically being united as one stable harmonious individual.

I was just posting about this in the Elliot Page topic, as it made me realize how ridiculous it actually is that in the U.S. female nipples are always heavily censored, but male nipples are always ok, regardless of context. It's like people never really stop to think for a second why certain are to be considered offensive but other equivalents aren't.

That's not really the point...website (like GameFAQs and the people who own it) would lose massive amounts of ad revenue of networks pulled out...which is why they comply.

Fair enough. The advertising industry aims to appeal to consumers after all. So the way to change that is to change the general status quo mentality among the consumers.
I guess it's pretty much impossible to change everyone's point of view at once, though we'd have to start somewhere, like that people in progressive-minded areas might be more open to the thought that showing uncensored female nipples does not necessarily have to be considered pornographic content.

Also out of curiosity, what about art? Is it considered ok in the U.S. to display female nipples for artistic purposes?
I know that in a lot of European countries they are depicted in both classical and contemporary art, and that there's generally a somewhat less prude stance toward nudity, so I'm wondering if there's a correlation with how people in general consider nudity.

Sorry if I ramble on about this. It's just that this topic emphasized to me just how silly and redundant the practice of censoring female nipples really is.

That's like saying Freddie Mercury is Queen, or that Michael Hutchence is INXS.
Other guys in the band are skilled and talented as well, though the guy who died was on a whole other level and was essentially the main face of the band. That doesn't mean the band is over though. At most, it means their glory days are behind.
The band can still move on, find a new lead singer and go on doing their thing, and they'll still have a significant following (though obviously not nearly as big as it used to be).

Hats are ok too I suppose, but I get the feeling that wearing one at that age in this period of time will make you come off as a hipster.

Wearing a hat indoors isn't really appropriate etiquette-wise, or at least will stand out in a weird way in most places. If you intend to wear one for the social impression, best thing is to take it off along with your coat.

It's a vicious cycle that they (the customers) themselves willingly knowingly help perpetuate, so why should employers bother paying proper wages if the customer gladly does it for them?

There are plenty of videos covering the effects of the Thanos Snap, but they all think they're being clever by assuming half of all lifeforms would be killed, so that they can make the easiest what-if video ever (since any idiot can figure out that this would mess up the ecosystems, thus ruining life for everyone).

The allegation of this being 'racist' somehow just feels like digging for something to complain about, like it's a Twitter comment section. Not every animated/fantasy/scifi character that doesn't have a standard neutral NRP accent is racist somehow, and calling it so doesn't make you sound woke. If anything, it diminishes the impact of the word if tossed around so liberally at things that are of no negative consequence.
Save such accusations for situations that are actually harmful to specific ethnicities. Dr. Hibbert is not one of those situations.

Arrow was very good for the first two seasons, then it gradually became worse, then it got gradually better again (imo) from mid-season 6 on (when the B-team kind of took off and Oliver was pretty much on his own again).
Season 8 is basically just the ramp up for Crisis On Infinite Earths.

By Time Lords I guess you mean Legends Of Tomorrow? That's actually one of the few series I think gets progressively better with each season.
It's not as dramatic as the other ones and more campy fun adventuring. In terms of atmosphere it kinda feels like a modern-day version of those Hercules/Xena series.
However it does feel pretty milked out by now. It's time they ended the series.

Never really watched Flash/Supergirl/Black Lightning. Guess I just prefer the vigilantes that don't have superpowers (or don't depend on their powers very often).
