Topic | So has anyone tried that "lucid dreaming" technique? |
Aressar 08/07/21 2:33:23 PM #12 | I inadvertently learned how to do it when I was keeping a dream diary. Initially I started doing that to see if there was any meaning to my dreams, though it grew to be more than that. Every time I woke up, I immediately wrote down every detail I could remember, no matter how insignificant or ridiculous it was. At first I could only write two lines worth of stuff, but by the end of the year I could fill a whole page on what my dream that night was like. I learned a great deal about myself and how to to interpret my dreams, and built a dream map of sorts in my mind, as I tended to dream about specific semi-fictional places, partially depending on my real-life state-of-mind, and because of that I grew to recognize when I was dreaming, and influence the dreams. After about a year I stopped doing that, because my dreams were becoming too predictable. And as I think the real world is predictable enough as it is, I prefer my dreams to be a place where everything imaginable and unimaginable can happen. --- One time, CE triggered me so hard with their objectively wrong opinions that I accidentally punched myself in the balls. |
