Just went in a small shopping spree, got myself Wallpaper Engine (for my tablet), Danganronpa and Obra Dinn.

Which in turn made my backlog problem worse.

That's awesome. You generous people surely deserve it!

I think in either contest 1 or 2 I went a bit craycray and had like $300 in prizes, but for the last few years I had a standardized total of 130. So definitely on the higher end.

A couple years now. I think it's always been hosted here because its a high traffic board.

One contest every 6 months, so since we are in contest 19 that means it's been 9 years since the first one.

Yaaaay I feel old now.

It really sucks that this happened, but as I said in the other topic we can only hope that the gifts have been put to a good use in some fashion.

FYI, in the Google Doc there's a column listing the number of gifts received, which is supposed to help people decide if they want to give more stuff to a particular user or not. We added it some 5-6 years ago in case something like this happened.

I wasn't and still am not a big fan of it since it can lead to the discrimination of honest people who just have no games to their name, but nonetheless it's there.

Suggestion for the Google doc: Don't pre-fill the user wishlists. Let them organically populate with the people actually participating in the topic. We probably have several people in there that aren't on CE any more.

OK. The only reason I copypaste them is because they are a PITA to fill in.

I can give $10 sure, but I'd rather participate during the contest.

I think that there no real need of big prize at the end, people are happy by just giving and receiving gifts during the sale.

Whenever it starts someone remind me please to create the corresponding Google Doc.
