Also just, politically speaking, you're going to get much more flak from people who were expecting checks (because they received the previous two) missing out, or people in need of assistance not getting it, than you ever would from the five debt dweebs actually upset at the idea of helping more people.

Republican elected officials, by definition, haven't lost. These are the ones still with jobs. And largely they come from red states or gerrymandered safe red districts where the biggest threat to their job security is a primary from a Republican who will praise Trump more than them.

Additionally, they have severe constraints on the sorts of economic policies they can offer voters, and as such have to find alternative methods of generating enthusiasm. Trumpism has proven useful for that purpose.

So, the content that you can bring in to 3 has to come from 2; owning 1 entitles you to the Legacy Pack for 2, ownership of which lets you bring those levels into 3, there's just that additional step in between. You'll have to, I believe, open Hitman 1 and you'll be able to redeem that legacy pack from the menu there. Once that's all installed, you should be able to download the GOTY Legacy Pass in 3 to play all those missions.

2 could be found on sale fairly regularly in the past, but I'm not sure what the case is currently.

Yes, this is all more confusing than it needs to be.

President Biden told House Democrats on Wednesday that he would not agree to scale back the $1,400 direct payments to many Americans that are a centerpiece of his $1.9 trillion stimulus package, but would consider restricting them to lower-income individuals as Republicans have proposed.

We cant walk away from an additional $1,400 in direct checks, because people need it, Mr. Biden told the lawmakers on a private conference call, according to two people who participated. Im not going to start my administration by breaking a promise to people.

But he added: We can better target the number Im OK with that.

Mr. Bidens comments came as Democrats pressed forward with their budget resolution in Congress, laying the groundwork to use a procedural maneuver that could eventually allow them to push through the presidents sweeping pandemic aid plan without Republican support. It was part of a two-track strategy that Mr. Biden and Democratic leaders were employing to speed through the relief package: show Republicans that they have the votes to pass an ambitious package with only Democratic backing, but offer to negotiate some details in hopes of gaining Republican support.

We need to act fast, Mr. Biden told the Democratic lawmakers, according to the people, who detailed the private conversation on condition of anonymity. Its about who the hell we are as a country.

Some Republicans have argued that the next round of stimulus checks should go to Americans most in need. Under Mr. Bidens plan, the full $1,400 payment would be limited to individuals earning no more than $75,000 a year, but those with higher incomes would receive smaller checks.

The presidents signal that he was open to compromise on the matter came a couple of days after he met at the White House with 10 Republican senators who are seeking a $618 billion package they said could win bipartisan backing. Their proposal calls for checks of up to $1,000 that would go only to individuals earning less than $50,000 a year, with the full payment limited to those whose annual income was $40,000 or below.

Later, Mr. Biden met separately at the White House with Senate Democrats and again discussed narrowing eligibility for the checks.

We did have a conversation about the direct payments and how those might be modified in a way to ensure theyre targeted, said Senator Chris Coons of Delaware, who attended the hourlong session.

On the call with House Democrats, Mr. Biden said he was not married to a particular, absolute number on the overall stimulus package.

We can make compromises on several of the programs, he told them, adding, we have to take care of the people who are hurting.

Milwaukee police officers left a 4-year-old girl in an impounded car overnight after arresting the girl's mother on suspicion of drunk driving. On Tuesday, lawyers for the family filed a lawsuit against the city and the police sergeant of Milwaukee, as well as five officers involved in the incident, which occurred in November 2018.

Police had responded to a call about a minivan pulled over on the side of the road and wound up taking the girl's mom into custody. The girl, identified by the initials F.K., was sleeping in the back of the vanand her aunt told police this, the suit against the city claims.

But police ordered the aunt (who had also been in the vehicle) to leave the car and did not bother checking for the child, according to the girl's lawyers. Instead, the officerswho did not have their body cameras turned onlet the vehicle be towed to a nearby impound lot, on a night where the temperature dropped below freezing.

The girl was discovered the next day when someone working in a nearby tow lot heard her "very upset and crying," said Jeff Polenske, a city engineer, at a press conference about the incident. She was taken to a local hospital emergency room.

Polenske added that city protocols for impounded vehicles were being reviewed. Not checking the car apparently went against city protocol, which says Milwaukee cops must "thoroughly" search a vehicle at the scene before it is towed and that the city tow lot operator should also inspect the vehicle.

The girl's mother was criminally prosecuted for child neglect and driving under the influence and sentenced to 10 months in prison. She was also ordered to have no contact with her children. Local news reports at the time portrayed the girl's abandonment in the vehicle overnight as the mother's fault.

Two Milwaukee police officers received suspensions over the incident. James Collinsone of five officers named as defendants in the lawsuit, along with Fabian Garcia, Antonio Dorsey, Emily Markert, and David Paszkiewiczwas suspended for 25 days, according to TMJ4 Milwaukee. Garcia was suspended for 10 days.

"Collins was the same officer involved in the controversial arrest of Sterling Brown, the former Milwaukee Bucks player," notes TMJ4. The city wound up paying $750,000 to Brown, who was tased by police responding to a report that Brown was parked illegally.
