It shouldn't, no one had the right to force their world view on your personal life. Same as I am sure you wouldn't ever disrespect a trans person right? It's just common sense. You will always find people on either side of things that are just rude and not great people, ignore them and just continue to respect the people you meet and in time you will see that it really is a both ways thing.

It's more "fear" in the sense that most often fear is derived from a lack of understanding.

In a more literal sense it more means a lack of empathy, compassion for another human because they happen to have been born in one of those situations, a lack of acceptance that these are just people trying to find the same happiness your looking for as well.

Although it can sometimes go to describe outright hate or prejudice as well. As far as no longer seeing them as humans who are also entitled to happiness.

It totally is an outdated word, should be something more akin to hate or wanting people to not have rights. I'm not sure what would be an acceptable word for that.

I get what your saying dude but everyone needs an outlet. That being said if they are not actively looking for a solution or at least making a plan that can eventually fix said problems then ya, I agree with you, but that's a people thing and not a gender thing.

I don't think trans people are popular at all. There were a few celebrates who tried to take advance of the fact that it was a new "Trend" but with the average person they became more a joke then a person at that point.

I don't know I agree with transitioning as a whole either, but I do feel that people need a lot more help then we are giving them and that showing more hate is defiantly not going to be what helps people.

Letting people choose what prison they go to because they can't decide what bathroom they want to use won't help, either.

Well no, it should not be a choice. However people who have transitioned have gone thought lots of therapy before it. I would say it should be up to their therapist on if they feel they would be a good fit for either.

As I said I can't say for sure I am in support of transitioning to begin with, but I wouldn't feel comfortable if someone was post op throwing them in a prison of the opposite of their current sex. Pre op is still a little up in the air and a lot more research needs to be done to figure out what to do about it.

There was a time where being gay had huge social and society stigmas and in many places globally it still does, sadly this is a bit more complex in that regard.

I had it open for an hour, I expected it to die out long before that time had even passed. I never expected any posts after that to be honest, it had fallen to the 5th page when I closed it.

Virtually everything that humans have ever accomplished, invented, built, conquered, discovered, and created has been done by men. I do not believe this is a result of "patriarchy". It's funny that I do see a lot of truth in this. In reality I only asked this as I was previously in a Master slave relationship and my Master was adamant that men were of course much better when it comes to anything productive, and women were more for nurture and comfort, empathy and pleasure. After many years of being under that and having no rights, freedoms or free will it has been super hard for me to shake that mentality, Interesting enough it seems like a large amount of people share his views which I hate to admit are still my views as well.

In general people are only out for themselves. This is human nature sadly. Sometimes people give themselves to others more than themselves but often in the end that ends badly as people will take advantage of it.

I actually used to be like that, I had lots of therapy before I kinda got over that and now have a lot more healthy of a balance. I guess if most people were good it wouldn't matter if someone was too invested in others as people wouldn't abuse it.

I ended up spending many years hating myself because I couldn't do everything that everyone wanted from me when in reality they were the ones letting me down by asking too much of me all the time.

Thanks a lot for those who voted and took a min to discuss in here. I've posted this on other places online with mostly male and female dominated audiences just to get a better picture of how people looked at this.

That's true of course, No one would argue that... well no one sane. However women are usually stronger with empathy and emotional needs.

It means if you took everything that guys and girls could do, looked at them all as a whole, are they equal. Of course there are some events that one or the other would excel at, but were looking at everything all at once.

I did not have a party, I had a Dad who was drunk and kinda crazy who wouldn't believe me that I was having my period and grounded me for speaking about something "sexual" So I proceeded to bleed though my clothing and mattress as I wasn't even allowed out of my room to get toilet paper or a cloth or something as he said It was just me looking for attention.

Had to buy pads off my friends until I could move out.

This also assumes that you can still be "equal" and acknowledge that there are differences in physical strength, reproduction, hormones, and mental structures. That those differences are offset enough by other positives or ability's that can equal it out.

Bonus question on if you feel that there is a reason they aren't what gives one gender the edge.

I grew up gaming, so I never really thought anything of it, or thought it was a male dominated thing. I did get teased about it back in school though. In general of my friends I maybe have 2 hardcore gamer's among them and the rest of the girls I know wouldn't touch it.

I just assume the act of you going back in time changes the timeline enough that nothing we know for sure like that will work out exactly the same. So Bitcoin could totally flop and another coin could rise instead, or none at all just by you going back.

I've actually had one for some time as I had a lot of depression when I lost someone really close to me. Totally happy with my life and as I said my weight gain days are behind me, retired from all that right now as if you hit 30 with that stuff going on you probably won't see 40.

Glad to say I'm on track to be under 200 in about another year and a half if I can stick to all this. Has been going really well so far so no need to worry about me man ^_^

I finished God of War and just started Yakuza 0. Both are really solid games but really different. I can't see why we can't enjoy both.

It would be really hard to make a game without representation of any type really. Maybe Flower on PS3. No animals, no people.

So long as we have people we are representing someone.You can argue that having a gay person is part of some agenda, but it's really not, not any more than having a straight person. It's when one way is thrown out as the only right way that it's a problem. No one wants to see people saying that being gay is wrong, but no one wants to see people attacking being straight either. It's just all about respect.

This is really stupid, but I'll share a story. I was raised Christian and never questioned it when I was a kid. I went to Sunday School. I went to church all that. Every day I would pay to a statue of God on the top shelf of our living room. I had no clue what wasn't a thing....

When I brought it up to my Mom once she was very confused saying that there are no statues of God. I told her that's not true, that she had one. It turns out it was actually a statue of Mozart.

That is pretty true, I had a really long relationship that we were only together because it was our normal. We did not love each other, but if we did it would have make things a lot easier. We eventually ended it in a civil manner and became friends.
