I am surprised that the topic that TC referenced didn't get a "No" reply and an immediate lock like so many topics there.

I recall that a while ago there was a "Rise: Son of Rome" or fall of rome or something ad covering the entire screen. Someone made a topic about it and a mod replied "report it then" and closed the topic, it was really bad.

Probably because the mod team has no control over the ads shown? Yeah, the only thing they can do there is hit the report button so the people who actually have the power to have ads removed can see that there are issues.

Amazon ran out of codes for the game I want to buy them. Nintendo's site has even deeper discounts, but the issue is you have to be logged in to buy games there, and they get applied to your account.

I could buy them an eshop card, but that feels tacky and by the time they would get it, the sales would be over.

So dumb.

If you're doing mono ghost that's pretty great but there's sections you're going to struggle through

They tied a lot of stuff to IVs in gen 2, due to the fact that stuff like shiny and gender weren't stats that could be checked off in gen 1, yet you could still use the time machine function to transfer between gen 1 and 2 games

Also, the money loop is nice for postgame where vitamins are the best way to EV train and cost 10K each

As far as I know it doesnt stay shiny. I think it just rolls a random Ralts enounter but the Ralts in his party and all of his other Pokmon are locked into the sets/stats theyre given by the devs

Btw, idk if you have SwSh but they changed how shiny hunting works

You should inevitably come across a few of them if you play long enough, especially with gen 6 onwards where the chances were doubled.
You've got people getting shinies in speedruns and being forced to run away from them

One of my favorite speedrun moments is when Werster encounters the Wally shiny. Id link it but I cant really do that with videos at work

I was one of his early fans (during the League of Legends years) who has watched him all these years. Its genuinely annoying when he intentionally misrepresents stuff and people hand wave it away as a joke or a legitimate criticism.

Dude hates RPGs for example but keeps playing them (incorrectly in some ways as well) and shits on them while his fans eat it up.

Ofc if you think it is archaic you would want to water it down until no one can dispute anymore.

I dont think it is a terrible thing, but the old form was worse than what we have now. You have guaranteed 24 hr turnover times, you have the whole group voting as opposed to a single moderator... I think its a plus for everyone tbh. Of course you might not see it the same as me.

Anyways I personally try to leave notes to the modded user on any moderation that isnt blatantly obvious to avoid confusion. Thats the feedback that comes in lieu of dispute responses.

This might come as a shock to you, but I am not a fan of those threads. It's just stupid slapfights that I don't care for. That's why I stopped posting in them. Goats tried to tag me into there several with unrelated banter for whatever reason and I wasn't happy about that.

I also stopped clicking into many political threads around that point for the same reason. Petty slapfights that were a waste of time.
