it's more similar to cloverfield lane than the original. it also doesn't really link any of the stories.

i really disliked that the movie's plot focuses around some worldwide energy crisis and that there's some sort of global war, when cloverfield 1 just like, took place in NYC.

i guess they're just going to keep naming random movies cloverfield and throwing in monsters at the end without explaining anything.

It worked in the original because a monster movie from some random dudes perspective was new and interesting.

Shame the monster was so lame though. >_>

Anyways, I usually avoid shonen because it's terribly paced and cock-blocks me from a satisfying resolution so it can drag out some conflict I stopped caring about fifteen episodes ago. But so far this show's got promise.

RBY are the best for casual play since you can start up a playthrough any-time and not be bothered by lengthy tutorials or early-game busy-work. But they work best if you have an imagination to fill in the blanks because there's so much nothing in them. Also, the entire game slows to a crawl after you unlock Cycling Road. And end-game is a painful grind.

Tbh problems like "inventory space" and "changing boxes" isn't really a big deal. It's easily mitigated by simply paying attention to the game. Though I also benefit from only catching Pokemon I like/intend to use for that run. >_>

My metric for how difficult something is, is how I feel myself improving as I fail.

Dark Souls kills me pretty often, but outside of a few roadblocks my play-style improves pretty consistently and I can progress. Their difficulty is kind of overblown into meme status.

Bullet-hells will eat away hours of my life and I won't have seen any tangible progress.

Also, your "human-centric" sticking point is only a problem if we assume that religion really is just made up. But for followers of religion, specifically, Christianity, there really is a God and the Bible is His word.
