He's my fiance's cat but I claim him as my own since we've been together for 8 years ( she has had him for about 14 years). He was the alpha cat (of 2 cats) for many years, and when we got together we had 3 cats together. He never relinquished the alpha cat title.

Over the years he has become pretty docile to me but he still snaps at my if I touch him in the wrong way depending what mood he's in. Cats are fascinating in how different their personalities can be

Say what you will about the HP books, they did a great job of growing up along with the reader

The first couple of books are definitely run-of-the-mill YA fantasy, but by the 4th book things really start to become more mature and dramatic

I actually took a class in "children's literatute" in College, and one of the assignments was to read the first book. I remember after reading it and the instructor was leading a discussion about it and the series in general, and this is kinda what ended up getting me into the HP books. The instructor was kinda hot too (in a she's like 10-15 years older than me kinda way but still kinda hot)

Do the books still hold up for adults?

DId J. K. Rowling change the books recently and added any dumb Lucas-style edits like wizards shitting their pants, or are the reprints still the same as they were in the 00's?

Also, she changed a pivotal scene where now Harry shoots first instead of Voldy

Dunno. When I was there it was pretty open space-y with mountains. There's plenty of places I didn't see though, so maybe there were some foresty spots?

Someone else can confirm

Yep. I was asymptomatic, though.
Just had to stay in my room for a week, and then another week not limited to my room but still unable to leave my house. It was boring but that was about it.

Right now, I have some annoying pains in the left side of my chest, but that had already been going on for a couple months beforehand, and I tested negative back then, so it's probably unrelated.

How did you know to get tested since you were asymptomatic?

Well I called the bank and they said they have no record of the refund transaction from Expedia so they are going to file a dispute with them to get the money. So it must be Expedia's fuck up.

I've been in a situation with a bank refund twice for two totally different things over the past few months where the business I asked for a refund through, said the refund is sitting with the bank:

-I did a grubhub Taco Bell order a few months back where my side item didn't come and they got my drink order wrong. Asked for a refund through Grubhub, never saw it come through to my account, contacted them again, and they said they put it through on their end and it's sitting with the bank. It was only like $2, so I never contacted the bank and never got a refund.

-Cancelling my honeymoon a couple months ago through Expedia- was supposed to get a $2k refund in up to 8 weeks time. It's been past 8 weeks. Contacted Expedia today and they said they processed it with the bank back in May and there's nothing to do from their (Expedia) end.

Why would it just sit with the bank? This is actually two different banks, one is Bank of America and one is Capital One. Shouldn't the bank just apply the refund automatically?

Also, you like D12 World but don't fuck with Devil's Night? I like World more than most but DN is damn near classic and has prime Eminem verses. Everyone but Bizarre is on their A game. Maybe Proof got better after, can't remember.

I don't think I ever listened to Devil's Night.

And yes.. I did like Encore. Came out when I was in high school and I enjoyed it :)

I dip in and out of hip hop every now and then, not enough to really have a great catalog of hip hop albums in my head or on my spotify list.

Here are some albums I've liked:

Kanye West- Late Registration
Kanye West- Graduation
*Note- My enjoyment of these albums over the years has degraded since Kanye's shenanigans have gotten a little unbearable. I can still listen to these every now and then but not interested in getting into any additional of his work

Jay-Z- The Black Album
Jay-Z- The Blueprint
Jay-Z- Vol2 Hard Knock Life

Eminem- his first four albums (Slim Shady LP through Encore), also D12 World

Childish Gambino- Because the Internet
Childish Gambino - Camp

N.E.R.D.- No one ever really dies

So a lot of mainstream stuff, which I'm not opposed to. But wondering based on this what CE would recommend me to listen to?
