Game got rid of most of the connection hiccups within a month, they were completely gone by Christmas of 2013. Even the billionaire glitch was patched out by January 2014. And even then, there was still far more content in base GTA Online than there is in RD Online. I don't know if they just didn't plan to focus on microtransactions at first or if it was delayed because of heists, or if it was a reaction to the rampant money cheating that when on in the first six months. But by the time they rolled out the heavy microtransactions there was a least a base game that was fun. Red Dead Online is just...boring. And I don't honestly know why anyone would spend any money on the shit on offer when it's all so pointless. None of the weapons have *that* much of an advantage from what I've seen. Most of the clothing options look like shit. Having a fast horse doesn't really matter when a few shots kill them. On top of that, they locked everything out with ridiculously high ranks but nothing is fun enough where I feel like reaching any of those ranks to unlock to stuff to then pay gold for. --- America is a tune.
