You can use for the web frontend (there is a way to do this with Python, but it's not feature complete and kinda cumbersome) and backend. JavaScript also runs faster than Python because so much work has been poured into optimizing the runtime. With ECMA6, it's not half-bad. Heck, you can use TypeScript to get type information. --- |

I spent about two years staring at a lower and lower account balance, bagholding a triple-leverage natural gas ETN (UGAZ) until it miraculously jumped back up above my buy-in price so I could thankfully sell out of the position and then went delisted. Granted, that was triple-leveraged, so maybe the long hold will work better with your stocks. Still, very long-term holds will prevent you from using that money on better opportunities and I ended up wasting those two years on overall modest gains. --- |
