The israeli government has a very polished message and you can see part of it here where they emphasize that they've got figures on how many hamas combatants they've killed (to show that as their primary mission, instead of wholesale genocide) and that they're taking great precaution on not harming civilians (part of the whole "world's most moral military" angle), but it absolutely crumbles if you go, "hey wait a minute, if you have numbers on hamas combatants killed and you're taking great precaution to not harm civilians, how come you don't have the number of civilians killed?" like piers did here. The thing is that the israeli government is not used to being under any scrutiny from any large platform, so normally they'd get away with the narrative.

No it wouldn't. 2020 was during a global pandemic which is way out of the ordinary. 2024 has a lot more similarities to 2016 than 2020. There's a milquetoast candidate claiming the status quo is fine, ignoring what large groups of people are saying, and there's the other candidate who is saying he's going to change everything. Republicans are far more passionate about their candidate.

No, if anything I try to eat maybe an hour or two before going to bed since it's hard to go to bed on an empty stomach. The key is to not stuff yourself and it also helps to avoid certain foods like ones that are overly acidic or sugary.

It is extremely relevant, because it explains why Israel, surrounded by Arab countries, can get away with brutalizing the Palestinians for decades. The Arabs kept Palestinians in refugee camps as a bargaining chip, got the UN to literally change the definition of refugee to support their efforts, lost a few wars, and then decided maybe it would be better if everybody (except Palestinians) made money instead. That's not excusing for Israel; that's an explanation for why the larger ethnostates in the region allow it to happen. They simply don't care.

According to Popeye's, each NORMAL wing is 210 calories. Multiply that by 6 and we get 1260 calories. Apparently the lemon pepper sauce only adds 45 calories which I find hard to believe.

Lemon pepper is just lemon and pepper, both of which aren't high in calories. The high calories are from the wings being soaked to the core in oil.

Salmon definitely isn't sweet, but I can eat a lemon whole as if it was an orange. I can recognize that the lemon is sour, but it doesn't bother me, I quite enjoy it.

Grapefruit are sweeter than oranges? That may or may not be the case but it's hard to tell with the sourness that comes with it. Sounds to me like you've just had bad oranges. Also sounds like you've had bad strawberries, because a good strawberry is sweet, flavorful, and pleasantly fragrant.

I'm interested if they actually dug into deeply. It aired as a segment of a bigger show, and all the other segments were obviously exaggerated or outright fake, but people take the Nasubi one at face value. There was a longer youtube video on it, but it got copyright claimed recently. I think they found out that it wasn't a 24 hour livestream like most people say, but short segments at specific times, and it was also obviously prerecorded.

The recording was done 24 hours, but it wasn't streamed. He'd change out the tapes and then there'd be someone who would stop by to collect the tapes. For a time there was a website where you could see a low-res low-framerate stream at certain times, but I don't have much detail on what that was really like. Of course, there were also some elements that were faked (e.g. he was supposed to win everything through write-in sweepstakes, but they provided him with supplemental food that they didn't mention in the TV program at all, since it'd be impossible to just live off his meager winnings). A lot of it really was real though, as crazy as it was.

I had watched the actual show itself quite a few years ago. The 90s were a weird time with a lot of extreme or shock content.

EVs got practical at the worst time. All this anti-customer shit is going to be associated with EVs and the auto industry is happy to let it be the case. EVs stand to become much cheaper than internal combustion vehicles, but the auto industry will be nickel and diming until that's no longer the case, just like how video games are so much cheaper to distribute digitally than physically (especially when compared to cartridges) but now are broken up into a million different pieces of DLC that altogether cost more.
