Superman the Animated series wasn't the best DCAU show but did have the best episode of the DCAU. In my opinion of course.

It is definitely underrated. I'd say it's also more consistently good than Batman TAS, though I don't know that it ever hits Batman's peak (aside from the Batman crossover lol).

Honestly, Batman's artstyle just does a lot of heavy lifting.

God, that one was cringe as hell.

Yeah, people tend to bring that up as an example of Penguin being a badass villain, but I think it really come across more as evidence of him never getting over being the fat kid picked last in gym class.

The Harley Quinn show really makes me want to say Ivy, but I think Riddler is better in general.

It's definitely JL/JLU, at least in terms of consistent quality.

Batman TAS has some absolutely banger episodes, but I think people forget how many of them are mostly just alright.

I don't think it's a bad submission tbh. Cool Spot just seems like a somewhat obscure game and a challenging one for the AI to get right. That was probably the best you could do.

I can at least take comfort in the fact that I've never heard of that game lol

I think it'll be fine. Most of the complaints about Bloober seem to be about how they handled their story and the story is already written for them. The combat looked meh, but it's SH.

Also season 2 needs deathclaws

Most (all?) of the weirder monsters in Fallout are actually escaped experiments, the gulper and deathclaws are not unique in that respect.

I actually like 16. People say the sidequests are bad but i really never understood why theyre so hated. They actually tell engaging stories and give you a lot of lore about the world. I dont know what wouldve made them better for people because I liked way more than most games sidequests.

I think the only issue with the sidequests themselves is just how the game paces them out. Like when you get to the last, climactic finish of the game, a dozen sidequests suddenly pop up.

What makes them seem worse is that without the spectacle of an Eikon fight or the main story, it throws the focus on the combat which is not particularly deep and the fact that your reward for this sidequest will be a hundred of a crafting material you already have six hundred of.

Ever since I was a kid I have been afraid of underwater in games. Like even underwater in FF7 or GTA5. So Subnautica would probably give me a heart attack. But I REALLY want to play because everything else about it sounds up my alley

I have honestly never been more terrified in a video game. Silent Hill, RE, Amnesia, none of 'em beat the moment in Subnautica where I was too high to see the ocean floor but too deep to see light from the surface. I was just floating in my dinky little submarine, alone in the darkness.

#9 could be a really weird interpretation of I Walk The Line

I really still don't get the logic behind crossing over those two franchises of all possibilities. Like... did they have any meaningful fanbase overlap prior to KH?

IIRC, it happened because a SE executive and a Disney executive happened to meet in an elevator and got to talking. That was it.

As for the topic, I often prefer it to the actual story, but sometimes it can be a slog. As someone said above, it's at its worst when it's just retelling the movie. Toy Story and Monsters Inc were some of the better worlds in KH3 just for that.

Hell, Woody telling Xehanort he's not shit cuz he's got no friends is probably the best moment in that game.
