While they still get the general ballpark with Maria I'd say they flub James entirely for what I can only assume is better market appeal by having a more attractive protagonist.

Not to mention her new outfit literally covers her butterfly tattoo which was the reoccuring visual motif of her character for multiple reasons. It looks like they literally do not understand the character or the game and its themes.

ummm....she was not mentally ill, she's a medium, and killing herself was a way to keep an evil entity from escaping it's confinement in an abandoned vacation resort where the game takes place. the ending leaves it open as to what happens to the main character.

Ive tried to watch the popular ones but it just serms like proffesional actors doing stuff which isnt fun. But once Moistcritical started his own group Ive been watching that, many of them have never played DnD either before so its more watching a bunch of friends playing which feels more natural and fun.

Is Zod that big of a deal? I mostly just consume the DC animated material because I don't have much time or desire to break into the comics. I don't think he appeared even once in the DCAU.
