Sultan did ask me if I had anything and I take it as NAI. If sultan is town he probably suspects me, if hes scum it makes sense hes focusing on a player hes comfortable with outside mafia and Im probably less intimidating due to being a newer player. An easy mark for content, perhaps, or laying groundwork for voting me.

Draw is probably my only problem with the gameplay

Junctions are cool and if you use refines to get all the ammo for junctions that's cool but it's very easy as a casual to think Draw is the way to do it and be trapped into a grind of Draw 3 Fires -> Draw 5 Fires zzzzz

I just think Draw should have been removed as a source for spell stock entirely and should only have been used for casts or to get summons. Should have all been refines out of the gate it'd be less ambiguous that way and probably better designed because there'd be more refine options.

I wasn't intending to stan that hard for Felix the Cat as much as the relative placement of it compared to Tiny Toon Adventures. To me they're really similar games in terms of their appeal and there's just more depth of Gameplay and better production values in Felix the Cat.

I just think some days he's generous and a game will place over one of his favorite tent post games like Dinowarz or Pinball Quest and then other days a very similarly appealing game won't and it makes things end in the generally right spot but like 10-20 off.

Like Felix the Cat is in about the right spot I just feel sometimes games have a rough or generous day.

Biggest crime on the list is actually Trog. That's probably a top 25 NES game for me I wish he played more of the higher levels.

I generally find myself agreeing but some of these rankings are really weird to me. Like I'm not saying Rad Gravity is great but why is it so far below Dirty Harry. They're kinda the same thing in terms of being ambiguous but Rad Gravity controls so much better and has a bit more direction. Why is Felix the Cat below Tiny Toons they're basically the same thing in terms of being generic but Felix the Cat has a lot more to it.

It kinda feels like he often ranks one thing out of place for him and then walls stuff below or above it. Anyway it's all just opinions of course but yeah definitely there are a few odd positionings on the list for me. Maybe this is just a "why the hell does he like Dirty Harry so much" problem more than anything.b

Just show the "better" version of the scene every time. Why let the player distract from the narrative especially in a game where the love plot is so central.

I like affection systems when they matter. Tales games are awesome. Dragon Age Origins was awesome. I kinda hate when they don't. It's my one problem with 10/10 game FFX too-- Blitz Ace and snow mobiles aren't good enough for me to be happy I want my Tidus x Rikku ship (though Tidus cant be a dick to Yuna so it's not as distracting as FF8). FF7 would probably bug me more if Tifa wasn't the best Cloud ship too but the Golden Saucer scene is a bigger deal than most FF games.

FF8 without the selectable dialogue is probably a solid 7 or 7.5 for me. Someday I'll replay with the pro Rinoa options every time to see how that improves it for me. Someday.

My role is not designed around the assumption Link will necessarily claim I'm like 90% sure thats just damage control so I still get an ability if we lynch him (and maybe a balancing element).

Obviously if I don't know who Link is, as I should generally not, I would use my ability every night and try to lynch scum every day

It feels like you're just tunneling onto trying to make me out as a liar without making sense here. There is nothing about this role that is illogical or counter to how town should play the game.

I have a LOT of problems with disc 3 in general-- it's 90% Squall/Rinoa but I just dont like it in general. The rest of the plot I'm mostly ok with as ridiculous as it is. Definitely a game that needed to just not have the selectable dialog choices as they actively undermine SquallxRinoa if you go hard on Squall being a dick (and why wouldn't you). Unlike FF7 it doesn't even influence anything to my knowledge?

Breaking the combat system open is fun and Squall is awesome though. So I do like the game overall. Just wish it was better.

My guess is I'm gonna become town jack with the other Tetris pieces as my abilities but I have no idea.

So yeah it'd be a lot cooler to lynch him. I promise I'll reveal everything I get first thing tomorrow if we do.

Also if Link is REALLY overpowered he might have a way to stop me from night killing him.

It references me "knowing better" about him which to me implies he scans inno. I may be reading too hard into that because I think my role should only exist to counteract a strong role otherwise why not just have the cop get him.

But it really is better to Lynch Link. We prefer Lynches
