vote by mail's not going to make a difference in 2024 sadly. this could also be looked at as a prophylactic measure for the GOP, enabling them to come out swinging against democratic vote by mail ballots: if GOP state judges declare all vbm invalid, and GOP loses net 5% vote share and democrats lose net 10%, GOP comes out ahead.

The best part is they cut out the character who constantly pisses herself but sings the Elfen Lied song from the manga (that's why it's called that). They kept in some self-pissing though. The author has a pissing fetish. The manga is a lot longer and more fucked up overall.

yeah the North Shore used to have really good prices a few years ago. a friend of mine had a huge 3 bedroom that was only like 1200.

but everyone realized it was so much cheaper up there and the traffic wasn't any worse than trying to go north into the city.

I'm 10 mins from Boston and only 5 mins from the ocean, but even another 10-15 miles south the apartments cost just as much.

the $2500 is for a 2 bedroom, but even 1 bedrooms are 1800+ and have way less space. my roommate is moving out fully in July so I'll finally be able to have a whole room just for my cat!

yeah most states don't even require all guns to be locked up with a key, nevermind a combination that can't just be found around the house like a key.

Especially for an EA game that doesn't even force you to use the EA launcher through Steam.

the new "pvp" arcade modes really do feel like old school NFS with everyone having the same car, but it doesn't take away from the regular lobbies that let you get all the other achievements. I'm already up to 250 hours in this, which is probably more than any racing game I've ever played besides Gran Turismo 2

Walter is one of the best broadcast TV show characters ever. John Noble deserved multiple awards for those performances

I'm sure I have at one point in the last few months, it's one of the best Sci-fi shows

I actually liked it more on my 2nd watch because I didn't care where they went with the final plots, it was just cool to see how all the season 1&2 monster of the week stuff tied into the last couple seasons and the story overall

it's not your fault. I've never been in this situation so I can only imagine how you feel, but she made her own decisions. you probably saved her life by still caring and going out to look for her, and if you can find it in you maybe you should be involved with her first couple therapy appointments after she recovers? but I say that hesitantly because if she can do something like this she might also try to guilt you into staying during therapy.
