I've seen how people react to pre-announced fire drills, vs surprise fire drills, vs real fires. People take the surprise drills much more seriously, and do what they're supposed to do, because they don't know it's just a drill.

if everyone active shooter drill a kid goes through is something they know about 3 hours ahead of time, what happens when there's a real shooter? they treat it like a drill, not something serious. Unless you really expect someone to shout "THIS IS NOT A DRILL!" over the intercom like it's a movie.

Because that sort of surprise drill is obviously going to lead to not only paInc but potentially could lead to injuries for the people working the drill and the participants. I mean you dont do a surprise fire drill with smoke for a reason.

That's how the books were, though. The first book was 309 pages. The last was 759. As the kids in the books got older they started having all the same relationship and interpersonal problems as other high schoolers..

Those movies lost me by the second movie. The kids seem so surprised by everything, including age old traditions.
That first one is quite magical though.

I mean tbf a lot of the kids are probably not a part of the wizardry world so are less likely to even understand the traditions.

I mean if we are going that route, I truly believe that a lot of live performances just suck. It isn't the fault of the artist most times, its the fault of the equipment, and the building they are playing in. Stadium speakers just suck for music, and crowd placement means either you can't see the artist on stage, or your forced to wear earplugs to avoid heavy bass.

On a side note kinda upset we cant get versions of Laughter in the Dark 2018 tour recordings because some of the track mixing done with Hikaru Utadas song hits pretty fucking hard with some of the choices.
