Hey guys this seems like a good time to talk about my FF7 sequel Idea. Tell me what you think. Spoilers obviously.

So basically I'm thinking we're going to have all new cast except for Vincent who has amnesia and calls himself Tricky now. The reason for the new cast is because Don Corneo survived off screen and came back and basically killed Cloud, Tifa, etc. Also Aerith wasn't actually dead, just comatose. After being dropped into the water she drifted through the Mako until she merged with the corpse of Jenova and became the Devourer of Lifestream and she's the new final boss.

What do you think?

For starters, that isn't strictly true. That one N64 WWE game is probably the most famous example. You could mail in your cartridge and they'd send you the fixed version back.

For continuers, they were a lot less prone to ship them broken in the first place. Perhaps because patching wasn't considered a possibility so they followed more rigorous testing standards in-house, or perhaps because the games were simpler and consequently easier to test thoroughly.

Yet the reality is they were still broken games released to some extent.

GoW:R and Horizon Forbidden West were complete games with lots of content.

This is also kinda why its an L take because even games with Day 1 DLCs or season passes or even updates offer far more content then their predecessors.

To be fair this leaker apparently has a very reliable history of leaks. Also the timing makes sense.

People always expect huge delays on KH4 because of KH3 but there was multiple reasons for that games delays that had nothing to do with KH3 at all. Final Fantasy XV as I recall alone was responsible for a huge part of the delay.

Pretty much the entire FFXIII compilation at the time was just fucking with things. Hell remember when it actually was originally three different games with FFXIII, Versus XIII, and whatever the fuck the 3rd game was called at the time?
