Just finished reading through the DC Bar panel's recommendation. It outlined the entire play-by-play of Clark's efforts to interfere. He basically attempted to usurp Rosen's authority as Acting Attorney General.

The panel recommended disbarment and refused to consider, or even entertain, a lesser sanction.

I believe so after a quick search. I'm not sure how long it takes. My state is fairly quick, as it's about a year to a year and a half on attorney complaints.

In other Trump-related news, DC Bar panel excoriated Jeff Clark in their discipline recommendation. Process isn't done yet; this is just a recommendation to the full Board for the DC Bar.

The lack of personal responsibility in these people is really wild. Imagine traveling hours with the intention of committing violent acts, beating the shit out of police, and then trying to blame other people. I couldn't associate with these people IRL. Especially when they're acting like everyone else is just supposed to think they aren't responsible for what they chose to do.

I know a bit about the Kiryu line of games (played 0, watched streams of Kiwami 1 and 2), but I think IW did a good job of giving enough background that you can still feel the gut punch moments for Kiryu's side without having gone too deep. Obviously don't have the full story and attachment that folks would have after playing the full series.

The appeal in the Second Circuit is already pending. He gets one appeal as of right (from the district court to the Second Circuit), and he (or Carroll, if the Second Circuit rules in Trump's favor) may petition SCOTUS for review of the Second Circuit's judgment. Four justices would then need to vote to actually hear the case.

Big issue with Eternal is how long it takes to get all the major tools. The pacing is okay for new folks, but you really feel it when you start a new save and you have the knowledge and experience.

Basically, Merchan is close to operating on the presumption that the Trump team is acting in bad faith, which will translate into more scrutiny on their objections, direct examination, cross examination, etc.

Unfortunately, the statutes and judgments implicate grounds for a petition for certiorari to SCOTUS, with some potential constitutional arguments. The upside is that if we clear the few de novo review issues and any evidentiary issues raised (I'll be able to better evaluate whenever the gaggle of dipshits get around to filing their brief for the appeal), the judgment will almost certainly stand because Engoron went to great lengths to thoroughly outline his decision.

Always amazes me how people can get into accidents when everyone's driving the same fucking direction and, for about 10 miles of that commute, interstate traffic is at a steady 35-40 mph. Fucking wild.
