Tulsi was always a bad Dem. I remember telling people back in 2020 how bad she was. She opposed an anti-bullying bill in 2004 against LGBT people. She also supported a 20 week abortion ban. I wasn't surprised to see her go. She was never anything more than a DINO.

I think I was warning people about her as early as like 2016. Some Dems loved her for being """anti-war""" but she's always had bad vibes and it's incredible how often bad vibes predict a future conservative dipshit grifter.

Honestly being suicidal (not like actively suicidal but just having the disease as part of your person) takes some of the pressure off. If things get really bad you can say "well, I can always just kill myself" and logically that leads to "if I'm willing to kill myself I should be willing to [try X other major life change(s)]". It's actually great for combating anxiety.

The chance of being actively suicidal is fuckin awful though so it's still not worth it overall.

Yeah I also picked the return ending, and also didn't really care about Harry, but "live forever with an elder god, a squid, and maybe some fish-people if they're still alive" seemed like a poor proposition just on its own merits. Then again the alternative is being a woman in the 1930s so maybe life just sucks no matter what.

Dandara's movement is definitely a learning curve. It never stops feeling restrictive, but I eventually came to appreciation the restriction, I guess?

It was... okay. The difficulty of the puzzles seems very up and down. Chapter 4 had a puzzle I had to look up the solution to and I still didn't understand what it was asking of me even then. The story feels very mixed too. Sometimes Norah is a genius and sometimes she is incredibly blind to what's going on. I am glad that they let you just walk away at the end and that that felt like a full-fledged ending still. A lot of games that spur the main character towards a horrible fate and then offer a choice at the end to reject it seem to get mad at you, the player, for choosing that option.

Werewolves have existed in fiction for a very long time. I can't say for sure that people have not like thought they saw a wolf man and it became a story, but we don't really have evidence for that.

As vampires. Iirc those are a bit more recentish (by comparison )and is often associated with one of the real first waves of satanic panic where they would like dig up bodies or whatever.

Werewolves go back to like Greek mythology I think so it's a bit ambiguous whether they started off as fictional or "real", but there was at least one famous string of beast attacks that were proposed to be done by a werewolf, though perhaps not in those exact terms: the Beast of Gevaudan. And yeah, real thing that really happened, it just obviously wasn't actually a werewolf.

As for vampires it really depends on how you define a vampire, but if "evil spirit that drains your life in some way" qualifies then those also go back to mythology. IIRC they were typically associated with non-human demons or, when undead humans, with fears about "Others" (the lower class, immigrants, foreigners, the disabled, etc) and with plague both metaphorical and literal. There's overlap with zombies there too. The higher class Dracula-style vampires are a much more modern take that definitely started as fiction and have not really been anything else, though there's still a well-known pseudo cryptid version: the tabloid character Bat Boy. I didn't know about the Satanic panic stuff but I believe it.

Support Simpsons Hit & Run, Dandara

There's a good chance I don't finish Simpsons if it's selected, but nevertheless. And Dandara I've already beaten and it's good, but I think there's been new content since then.

I've started Call of the Sea and played a few chapters. It's not really my type of game but it's enjoyable. I'm having a sad amount of difficulty with the frankly not that tough puzzles.
