Update: It's a good cut but way too expensive. I think I'll keep looking for next time.

I've always listened to my music straight through in alphabetical order because shuffle algorithms are absolutely fucking garbage. I've got over 9000 songs on Spotify. No way am I listening to the same 30 over and over.

Yeah, I've always used Firefox and ublock. I have been completely unaware of the adblock arms race with these. They even block ads on streaming services so I don't have to get the premium accounts.

There's an indie game called Capes that is basically grid-based combat, XP to level up, and each hero having team-attacks which turns combat into a tactical puzzle of sorts. It's a bit like XCOM with the RNG removed. There was a subset of people that wanted Midnight Suns to be a bit like XCOM and Capes might appeal to them.

I'll give it a shot sometime but I really hate the cards fad. It's the same as using other kinds of skill systems but presenting them as playing cards is just so weird. And, if I'm playing as a superhero, I'd rather just level them up with xp or gear than getting randomized cards. And obviously they're not going to be shooting at each other from cover but a bunch of dudes standing in a circle throwing things at each other feels like it lacks the tactics stuff like this should have.

Finished just this second. Some parts of season 8 were a bit sloppy but overall it was a fine conclusion. Honestly I think season 6 was a bit weaker. They had just run out of books and they were really treading water while they figured out where the story was supposed to go. It's just another huge example of impotent nerd rage to throw on the pile right next to Star Wars.

Nope. Never played any MMOs or live service games long term and never felt compelled or interested in them in regular games.

Because gay people are a significant minority. This show has a lot of sexuality in it and it's a legitimate discussion to be had as to what it's trying to say.

Sexuality is just a huge part of the show but it doesn't seem like it's really important thematically or anything, apart from the "rich people are perverts" angle which definitely shouldn't have anything to do with them being gay. It's odd to be this gay and not really seem to do anything with it. Not really going for any deep read here or anything, it's just interesting and I wonder what they were going for or what I missed.

Good lord y'all. Do you go into every topic with your dukes up? The majority of the characters are LGBT. There's clearly a point to this, even if the point is that Mike thought it would be funny if everyone was gay. A lot of it is tied to the characters sexual deviancy like Perry and Camille exploiting the power dynamic with their assistants but that's clearly not it, and most of the gayness isn't shown as being deviant in any way. Is there queer subtext to the story or is just surface level stuff?

You can pretend like this is some complaint about that dang woke or something but it's clearly a question about the themes and dynamic of the show. If you're looking for a fight you can go elsewhere.

The majority of the main cast was gay or bi. Most of the characters were also into some wild ass sexual degeneracy. Has Mike Flanagan said anything about the sexual themes he was going for? Because there's a lot going on here and most of it doesn't seem relevant to the story or characterization.

As much as people hate this rule it seems like they mark things as much as possible in order to prove some kind of point. They are creating their own prison in order to be smug about mod aboose.

Live service is such a broad and meaningless phrase. It basically just means they're going to support the game long term. There are tons of games that are "live service" and have been around for ages, are actively supported by the devs and loved by players. But because there are some that are lazily done, it's become a dirty word for Gamers.

Spider-Man barely interacts with him while Daredevil keeps a picture of him on his nightstand.

The things that are worrying me at the moment is the possibility of all the conservatives who say they don't want to vote for Trump publicly just falling in line and voting for Trump any way when the general election happens. Nikki Haley, predictably, just said she will vote for Trump.

To be fair, though, there are prominent Republicans like Liz Cheney and Brad Raffensperger who have seemingly closed the door to the possibility of voting for Trump. We'll just have to see what the final numbers end up being.

A lot of the politicians will fall in line just because the republican party is so hostile right now but I think Trump has disenfranchised a lot more people since he originally ran then Biden has with Gaza. I think most left leaning people will vote for Biden whether they like him or not because the alternate is Trump, but republican voters are more up in the air.

Surprised Kennedy is that high. I thought everyone thought he was a loon. Not even sure what his platform is.
