Anyone here played/built a Memento deck? I've played a few duels against the deck and all of them have been really interesting, so now I kind of want to build it. Plus, after looking through the cards in the archetype, almost all of them are SR or below so I can craft the deck on my main account easily without spending any of the gems I'm saving for the Sky Striker alt arts coming soon.

MBT had a few vids on it really praising its creativity. I think you need like 4 URs? 1 5k boy, 3 witch, rest are SRs

Oh so this was the fight ppl were saying was the power spike. He was tough, but it helped to have the super finisher you get from doing the company mini-game. Beelining to kill one of them ASAP is the way to go for sure. I had 2 healers to boot. Ended up doing it underleveled

To this day, my win rate in most special duel formats have been like pretty damn high cuz I never use loaners and build weird shit people don't know how to counter.

But to this day, I have a negative win rate with every single build of Invoked or Therions. I know my build can be better, but this deck is so inconsistent on top of having trouble closing out games, as well as putting together, at most, 2 negates.

Yeah 2 negates are good and all, and Mechaba can banish which was clutch a few times. But man, they are not special duel friendly to boot. Mechaba pass is also just not that great

However, I did get a really sick play where I used Augoeides to banish a Mechaba and use the Aleister in my hand in order to get a really beefy attack, which was enough to punch through a Predaplant really really hard for game

DToast doesn't know he's just gonna be used by Fandom as a scapegoat when this site completely dies down and don't justify its minimal operational cost. Killing the forums is a bad idea cuz its users were the ones loading the ads consistently.

Anyways, he will be off in like 2-3 years. Maybe that's a long time for some, but it's not like the site will immediately die down. They'll just piss off enough ppl, and those ppl will leave. Without the consistent users, they'll feel the effect of a bunch of brainless sites taking over the first few 10 results of a google search over gfaqs

2 Whiptail is probably enough. Drident and Boarbow should be enough, but you add in one more (or Downerd) if you want a 4 mat Zeus. You Boarbow for a situation where you just want to normal summon Whiptail into a direct attack for Zeus.

M-X Saber into Armor Fortress is a sick move. I want to incorporate it, but to be honest, my initial interest in Armored Xyz was to use my Royal Rare rank 4 armored ray lancer dude.

I'm telling you, Horus PUNK can work. They're easy lvl 8s that offer other utilities as well. Funny thing is S:P into 2 Horuses can threaten an Apollousa.

The lightest Horus package is 3 Imsety, 1 Hapi, and 2 Sarc.

Holy balls, they came for my boy SDBZ for, frankly, barely risque post gawking at some Snowbreak girls. Their standard seems to be, if they feel like it, then they'll hit you with a wave of moderations.

Yeah you'd have to find a way to summon S:P first and then do the PUNK stuff. She doesn't need to be summoned with an ED mon. I do want to test with Armored Xyz more. The thing about Nib is like man ppl don't run 3 Nib most of the time on MD. It feels worse to end on a loose board than to somehow find some crazy 4 summon way

You should just run a Snake Eyes package at minimum. It's too consistent and good. The Links can be used for other decks too anyways

Also PUNKs end board might honestly not hate ending on S:P now. S:P offers a solution against Nibiru and allow you to banish a lvl 8 and Sharakusai til next turn. I've been having that theory all day or whatever, but I dunno how you'd get there easily. I think Horus PUNK can do it cuz it lays a lvl 8 on the field so easily, so all you need is a Sharakusai banished as long as you can end on a lvl 8 on the board

I dunno how, but I faced like 3 Branded focused builds and won against all of them. A lot of tryhard decks in L1 in general, like everybody running Snake Eyes, some doing Kash or R-ACE.

One clutch card for me has always been Nibiru. I somehow saw it in like 3-4 duels and it probably won me the game 3 times

Went 11-1 and like every duel was epic as hell for some goddamn reason. Lost to Bystial/Spright/Livetwins once.

This event proved to me that YGO has gotten too damn consistent. I basically never had an unplayable hand. The Bystial Spright game was super winnable but I think I fumbled somewhere. For some reason I don't remember exactly what went wrong. Oh I think I got droll'd actually, and that fucked my PUNK combo

Otherwise I had a 7, 6, and a 10 turn duel, all 3 of those were top deck reliant scrapfest, where I frankly drew like a goddamn protag. I'm pretty sure a top deck contributed to the winning play in all 3 of those games. That's at least the fun of limit 1, but it's not like I put any cards I didn't want to see in there. I liked my build a lot

Also knowing every single PUNK line in existence was nice. I even did things that surprised me. Lots of interesting play arounds that had no good out for a limit 1 type deck

I skimmed the pack openings, Gage had insane Salad pulls. Doug pulled Brilliant Fusion. Back in the days, he was known as the biggest Brilliant Fusion simp. I dunno what copies it's at but I'm guessing Gem Knights suck too much to go into just for Seraphinite. Funny enough, Farfa pulled Seraphinite lmao. He got a good Lunalight pull, Lunalights being insane in sealed cuz some decks literally lack the out. Doug also got great Pend pulls, but not sure what boss monsters he has for them

Gage Salad deck is probably the cleanest deck I've ever seen him build all series. Even Jelly Cannon is decent here. Farfa's Lyrilusc lacks 3 Bird Calls, but most importantly he put the Numeron package in there, so he deserves to lose. Doug sadly brought a new deck. I kinda wanted to see more Fabled Sweep. Deck is solid. I forgot he had Astrograph. Evenly is massive vs. Gage

Gage v Furfa: Farfa opens Pathfinder. They really should've limit it at least. Both of them running Paleos lol... They're so good in sealed. No freaking way does Gage draw the Alpha AGAIN. He doesn't seem to know the obvious Salad lines tho lol. I mean don't you almost always send Jaguar? WAIT GAGE LOST TO THE FREAKING TRANSVERSER AGAIN?! How do you even get a season where a single person loses to Transverser like 3 times

Gage v Guod: Gage drew good against Doug. DAMN Doug got creamed. He drew so crazy it's insane. I think drawing the 2 spells was literally the only out Gage had, or he had to deal with a really long grind game

Doug v Furfa: You know, with stuff like Tornado Dragon in rotation, maybe Numerons isn't that great anymore. Not having Bird Call made Farfa's Lyrilusc part really bricky.

Wait, what one card combo does PUNK have outside E-Tele. Ze Amin needs a discard and Sharakusai needs another PUNK.

I meant 1.5 card combo for Ze Amin. But let's face it, the proper PUNK combo basically replenishes your hand and then some, so I dunno if I'd call it 1.5. You summon Ze Amin and search Foxy Tune, discard 1 and Foxy Tune summons Sharakusai for Carp. The discard is made up by eventually getting to Dragon Drive, field spell pot of greed.

Had a freaking insane duel vs. a Snake Eyes Kash player. It's really difficult to describe the things that transpired in that duel, but he misplayed a ton (could've just shut me down turn 2 tbh) and I can't tell if I had better plays. I had one play that was particularly good but I don't think I would've had the foresight. Basically it just involves OTKing on turn 4. But it was a 6 turn duel where him overplaying and me holding Nib til end of Main just secured the duel

My build is pretty good. It gets to both PUNKs and Snake Eyes full combo alternatively. Both do uninterrupted 1 card combo. PUNKs are a bit more fragile, but I'd say they close out the game harder. Snake Eyes are still weak to destruction since it's hard to fit in the Formula Synchron line

Conversely, looking at your backlog, you haven't explored the PC much. You can equally argue that spending $1000~2000 on a perfectly adequate PC now is significantly superior to getting a PS5 or an XSex. The logic goes, when something consistently sells well, and people keep wanting the next iteration, it's doing more things right than it does wrong, but for you personally, you think everything is wrong.

You'll buy the next console anyways, so why should they fulfill all of your demands, even if it means it potentially ruins their niche and more people may dislike how the cost of things have risen and the time of development further pushed back?

You won't mention how the Switch had a very steady stream of releases throughout its entire life, whereas development time for other consoles for their major titles have gone up even more years now, often announcing things that will release a year or two later.

To make it even worse, they may not even be good games after waiting years for them.

I'm not expecting a headshot = 1 shot, but it feels like the only time sensible way to kill mobs. They're basically punching bags anyways, and they take too damn long to kill. I know there are mob killers but goddammit I don't have the fucking resources to pull or build them.

Another thing is that I was playing Multiplayer, and the biggest problem with Hush Fritia are things so unrelated to anything. Her ult takes a billion long yr of cutscene to start, and you also don't have sight of the enemy til it happens, so you whiff a few milliseconds of the tick to start. Also because the ult takes so long, the enemies crowd around you, and now the ult doesn't know who to hit or where to go, but because they purposely made it so there's a rotation speed, to kill some crowding enemies around you, you gotta slowly turn the other way, and the ult is nearly finished by then

Seems like an easy UX thing to fix, and I was shocked they buffed her without fixing those little things. I don't need to see animations every time my friends, at least give me the option

I think the lewdness in Snowbreak is good. Cuz it's either that or they just die. They had like bottom tier rev, now they're literally like #2 of the month in China and growing elsewhere. It's really hard to blame them at all

But I really have a bone to pick with their gameplay. I think they're still suffering from the problems of launch. Mobs take 3-4 headshots, and there are too many of them with them bobbing their head. In a vacuum, they're usually not problematic difficulty wise. But their biggest issue is that they're really annoying and time consuming, and they take center stage in story and various event modes. Bosses are fine, but sometimes they're a bit too difficult without seriously growing your characters.

I don't consider my box to be too shabby, and Hush Fritia completely ravages some bosses. But this game could probably benefit from being less time consuming.

Also I did get access to my old account. It took... a lot of guessing. Customer Support sounded like they don't even speak fluent English

Ill also mention, in the crane games in Japan, they often have weird pokemon as prizes. They had Chingling and Pyukumuku recently. Plus, the Pokemon Centers usually have a plush for every pokemon.

This is my L1 deck. This is kinda groady, a bit nasty, a bit shit. (My choices were obviously impacted by how many royals I could fit in there) From what I can see, Ze Amin is a 1.5 card full PUNK combo, so if I have any access to her or Sharakusai + PUNK in hand, then I'll go off on them. If not... pray for luck. I probably should've built a more of a Zoo PUNK direction. If this build is horse garbage, I'll dump it for a variation of PUNK Zoo.

Farfa just pulled Sprights. Holy damn this deck is insane in sealed. Red and Carrot are the most broken cards, and even if you don't get some of the other stuff, it just opens your entire lvl 2 catalogue.

Everyday Paleos are becoming more and more a deck that only Joshua Schmidt can pilot

Some duels will take like an hour, and that's exactly the way this tyrant wants it

It's so fucking great cuz piloting it well is constantly managing your resources til you win. It's pretty difficult to finish games out quickly with this deck. You basically have to punch hard with Zeus and Paleo and finish in 2 battle phases, but it takes like 7 turns to get to that point, and only sometimes

Yeah I went to a fancy ass restaurant this one time, and they presented bread, which was a soup. I guess as long as there's a certain grain that can become a dough and water, it's considered bread. Wikipedia seems to say so, so whatever that soup thing was, it was technically bread

Heavy Storm can come back to 1 tmrw and it'd be completely fine. It's also hilariously an Unchained buff, but it's always overstated how much they even need their own S/T destroyed

I think what hurts most is when I had the huge 5 win streak in the qualifier stage, I was genuinely impressed by this deck's ideas. But when it turned out I only really bricked with guy at 1 copy in my hand max, that's when I kinda realized that this one guy's inclusion ruined an otherwise one of the more enjoyable TCG experience of late

It's like you get a Tear deck, and you just add in like 6 copies of Mushroom Man #1 and #2. Rest of the deck is cool to play with and then you might just have not enough names to activate Scheiren because these Mushroom fuckers are clogging your damn hand

Depressed. I crashed out of the last stage with 2 losses in a row. There is a card in this deck that makes 0 sense. It's hard to explain, but this 5 COST CARD (aka reserved for really good cards) wants to destroy 4 monsters on my side of the field with 5 max monsters. But this fucking piece of shit ass dog card cannot, because the deck hero summons a fucking Amulet on the field.

THIS GUY CLOGGED MY HAND UNPLAYABLE AS EVERY OPPONENT KILLED ME TURN 6, AKA THE TURN B4 I CAN EVEN USE THIS USELESS CARD AAAAAAA.

I kept drawing 2 of him, and I didn't play him once in the 3 games I played. The deck was all premade depending on the hero you choose. Probably one of the worst balanced thing I've ever seen in my life. If I want 5 wins in a row, I can't be running bricks like this that don't win me the game even in the slightest. Really sad state of affairs

In Shadowverse, there's a hero mode where you get fixed deck and characters with skills. It's poorly balanced, but I just took a supposed low tier deck to the final stage. It genuinely had skill expression, and I think people are overlooking something that makes this deck extremely stupidly good. I thought the deck was terribly made cuz it wins super late, but turns out they were cooking. You can do some really wild rush type moves

I ended up beating like 3 Grand Master rank ppl on the way. Pretty wild

Speaking of Sky Strikers... after seeing multiple videos of Joshua "Oh my god yes I love Raye I would die for Sky Striker Ace Raye" Schmidt playing a Snake-Eye variant using Sky Striker spells to help him break boards, I'm very tempted to try building a similar deck in Master Duel.

Lol just saw your post on reddit too. Kag ary is a great royal, but you have to make sure to use the right one. If it's for the OTK, you have to use it to grab Linkage. If it's just to grab Engage then tbh you should use your lowest rarity

This made some rounds recently in the Twitter and now Reddit sphere. You can in fact change your heavily going first and easily side deck countered deck into a Tenpai deck (a deck similar to Numeron)

It is cheesing. Cheesing itself isn't inherently bad, but for me, the biggest problem with a lot of BG3 fights is that they're pretty trivial if you know even the basic thing about it beforehand (like the fact that it's even gonna happen), but they're something unfairly punishing when you don't know it's gonna happen.

You can always just reload, or you can just like pile on bodies and just squeak out a win. At the end of the day, midway through act 2, you can get some builds that just never has trouble with anything in the entire game. But if you don't know those builds and experiment, act2/3 late creative builds are all generally pretty shit. Like there's very little reason to use them over stuff that simply just does way more damage, cuz damage bypasses a lot of jank

My R-Ace supremacy deck has been complete with some potential changes that could be made. I beat a poor Cyberdark player on the gold ladder but otherwise I haven't really played much of it. It's a really strong deck with few weaknesses but it's probably not as strong as playing just Snake Eyes. Hard to say really.
