I'd argue that point a bit in that in Japan, it was called Biohazard and they have always been on point with that.

I mean, obviously it is my opinion to have and you are free to disagree, but Silent Hill was the town that 1,2,3 and 4 (kind of) took place in.

F has connections to the lore of Silent Hill so that's good enough. It's like saying Fire Emblem Gaiden/Echoes Shadow of Valentia aren't Fire Emblem games because they don't have their own Fire Emblem in the game itself (it shares a universe with the 1st games so their universe's Fire Emblem are already in Marth's games).

I dont think its that good for either of the characters that have the crest tied to it. The healing works against Bernies passive + vengeance and Hanneman would much rather have a magic bow since he has poor strength.

Oh yeah true. My Hanneman turned out to have really good strength I think. Sniper bases aren't bad either. I do think I mostly gave it to my other snipers though.

Honestly I completely agree lol. I vastly prefer the games that primarily have other enemies than the zombie focused games. Even in the zombie focused games the best parts are the bosses which are distinctly not zombies.

Oh, interesting. I didn't realize that existed for Touhou, but I've used something similar for Celeste hacks.
Being able to practice each part of a difficult stage and then attempting it proper does makes things so much easier. It can make impossible games possible.

The practice patch lets you practice individual sections. That and Cheat Engine slowdown has helped me grow from someone who couldn't even beat Easy with all 3 continues to someone who can 1CC Hard while capturing most cards and beat all Extras.

They started actually power scaling. Saitama goes full serious with serious punches and in despair because Genos got killed by Garou in front of him and he could do nothing to stop it. Garou kills basically the entire cast after getting a boost from God that allows him to leak nuclear radiation. Saitama manages to beat Garou but is depressed that everyone is dead. Garou realizes he accidentally killed the boy he was trying to protect and goes into despair too. Then Garou realizes that due to the knowledge God gave him he could use a technique to time travel before any of that happened so he teaches Saitama this technique and Saitama uses it to go back to the past before Garou gets boosted by God and punches out Garou before that happens. However his soul goes back into his past self and then he forgets the whole thing too. Basically it's like the entire fight didn't happen with only Genos remembering it because his core somehow is able to record the previous timeline when it merges with the new timeline.
Yeah. Needless to say, none of this happened in the webcomic. That fight, while still the most serious fight in the Webcomic at the time, was still filled with jokes and kept the theme that Saitama was just doing heroism as a hobby (while manga Saitama actually laments how poor of a hero he is) was nothing like this ridiculous fanfiction bullshit.

Also, Murata keeps redrawing dozens of chapters several times and so a single arc can last 2 years because he keeps redrawing them.

Unless you were talking about the Garou fight? Because they haven't really moved past that, last I heard they've been stuck in the ninja arc because Murata wants to endlessly redraw chapters.

Don't know about Chainsaw man but OPM manga jumped the shark hard.

And those have very specialized powers unique to them. Whereas the stuff I mentioned are stuff I just remember from synopsises from random horror movies. For actual individual characters besides the aforementioned Sadako and Kayako there are also stuff like FEAR's Alma or even Freddy Krueger who are basically gods.
Even in Jojo, base ghosts can't be dealt with without Stands (which are pretty much ghosts themselves) while vampires can be defeated by normal people even without hamon.

Ghosts are extremely commonly depicted as having highly limited movement abilities. Like, get out of the creepy ass house or cemetery and the ghost can't get you. It's stuck there.

Only the top tier examples like Sadako are able to hunt you down and even then there's restrictions on that, too.

It's way more common for the characters to think that only for the "twist" that the ghosts are able to follow them anyway. Meanwhile, what "top tier" vampire are you thinking of that doesn't have the most basic weakness of being at best weakened by sunlight if not fatally hurt by it?

On average, ghosts are far more likely to be "invincible villains". Even kids media will sometimes have ghosts be unbeatable by otherwise OP main characters like Paper Mario and Pokemon.

That's the thing with ghosts. They're pretty much the embodiment of "supernatural", they can have the potential do anything, their existence is reality warping. Whereas everything else on the list could simply be a different type of race or species on a bestiary. Everything else also have a set of defined weaknesses (and can mostly get destroyed by physical means and real life weapons) whereas there is no consistent way throughout media to defeat ghosts besides exclusively fictional tools specialized in fighting ghosts.

Basically ghosts embody the fear of the unknown.

It got into Smash 5 years later and Deltarune videos not only consistently gets millions of views, it crashed Steam and was the best selling Eshop game of Switch 2 in its opening week. Do you think Silksong and Hades are also fads?

Eh, on its own without the True ending and Genocide routes it's a bit too straightforward without an amazing payoff and even with those it's on the short side. The combat is definitely less than stellar too. DR already beats UT in this.

On topic, it does have enough flaws to not actually be the bestest best game of all time but it is up there and it definitely deserved to make the sweaty capital g gamer boomers rage

I also work at a place where I have control of the music that plays in the building, and the only thing I will put on that has any connection to my interests is the OP of Serial Experiments Lain. And only because its a normal song that they just happened to use for it, so most people wouldnt think anything of it. I would be too embarrassed to put anything else on, so stick to normal music.

So there was a solid five seconds when they added Sans as a Mii Fighter that I thought Vriska was going to be in Super Smash Bros.

The music that was playing was Vriska's theme actually lol. And another one I don't remember because I'm not a homestuck fan. There was a monitor that showed the music that was playing and it had the same Homestuck cover art as the Vriska theme.

One of the managers there has taste.

get it when you feel like it. the game was a good plate cleanser for me after coming out of elden ring. a metroidvania game that wasn't overly hard or easy with some of the levels traversal bits.

yt-dlp with ffmpeg will automatically download the best audio and video quality possible afaik, you don't need to choose format for that.

The best format is usually like 1080, sometimes 4k and takes up so much space. While the default without ffmpeg is 144p and obviously looks quite bad. I'm usually fine with 360-480p.

You don't have to learn shit. Download yt-dlp.exe. Put it in your videos folder. open command prompt. type "cd videos". then "yt-dlp.exe *YourVideoURLHere* . Easy as pie. It will be bad quality but that helps saves on storage. If you want good quality, download ffmpeg which it gives you a link to and put the three bin files in the video folder too.

That's a good point, Silent Hill needs a comeback. It was pretty much a decade of nothing before the remake of 2.

Fanatical has the usually $80 deluxe edition for $60 so I got it.
