Someone else who did a medical residency would have to comment here. It's hard to describe how to live through it to someone that never did it. Yes, I still exercised. I just barely slept. I could still crank out 2,000 words on days I wanted to write. In fact I'm going to the gym now and when I get back I'll be writing until I go to work later.

Very fun game and a big step up from the previous game. Boss fights much better. Especially the Mr. Freeze fight. The sidequests are pretty entertaining too. Riddler shit is too damn much. Does not really respect your time. I still have close to 100 left! Not including the physical challenges or the breakable objects. I will say I'm glad that they're more puzzly even if some are really tough.

The story of the game is very interesting but it kinda falls off at the end. Strange gathered all these criminals into one giant lawless city only for Protocol 10 to be...an order to shoot everyone? OK. The Joker/Clayface stuff was a good twist. I can't say I was expecting him to be the final boss. I beat him and thought "wait we're done?!".

Fun game. On to Arkham Origins which apparently has multi-player and no Kevin Conroy or Mark Hamill unfortunately

During the movie the impression I got was that they're in the 10,000s age wise. Not the several hundred thousand I had anticipated. But I watched weeks ago in theater so it's not fresh in my mind.
I'll rewatch it and see what I misremember or forgot.

Both Peter and Miles start off as brilliant but somewhat socially awkward teenagers who become superheroes of the cheeky and wisecracking variety. I don't mind stories that entertain the idea of someone else taking up the mantle of Spider-Man, but if they're just gonna be "Peter Parker but darker", where's the novelty? If the novelty IS the fact that Miles is black, then to me, that just feels kind of lazy and unimaginative. I'd rather Miles's Spidey be meaningfully distinct from Peter's, as opposed to just feeling like a knockoff.

That's nice and all, but it's riding the coattails of Spider-Man instead of having its own identity, so it still feels lazy and unimaginative. Why not just make Miles Morales a unique/original hero? You can still accomplish everything you just said, but with the added bonus of being completely fresh.
