Meaning a character survived something ridiculously fatal or they had to write another character to act super stupid in order for them to survive.

Wonder of U finale of Jojolion, where some people die from merely looking at the villain while others fire lethal projectiles or punch rush at him multiple times and survive.

I'm playing through Shadow of the Tomb Raider now, and her plot armor is next level. She puts herself into life or dead situations every second. A single slip, missed jump, or anything of that nature would mean insta-death, and they let you now with the death animations.

She's like a walking Darwin award that's somehow still alive

**Game of Thrones Spoilers** When Arya completely shuts off her brain long enough to be walking out in the open in broad daylight in Braavos hours after betraying the world's most elite shapeshifting assassin's guild, predictably gets knifed several times in the gut, falls into bacteria-riddled canal water, and just 'gets better' in time to parkour across the streets of Braavos a day later.

I remember quite well the week between these two episodes, during which myself and half of the internet were fan-theorizing out the ass trying to make sense of this, because it was simply unfathomable that the writing quality had dipped so low as to present this scene entirely at face-value.

Dexter season 6

The Doomsday killer used an old couple's house as a short term base of operations after killing them. Before ditching the house, he paints a mural on the wall that depicts Dexter as the biblical Beast, with a photorealistic Michael C. Hall face.

The cops show up and hang around outside the building. Dexter shows up and all the cops are like "dextah...we waited for you to go in first"

Idk if that's how crime scenes work but in the show it came off really stupid, and only to prevent Dexter from getting caught

Nathan Drake. The whole entirety of the Uncharted series. Dude has no business surviving all that shit.

In vidya games, the RE7 and 8 guy comes to mind

Joel in TLoU comes to mind first, when he falls off a second floor balcony, gets impaled through the gut on steel rebar, and magically survives with some bed rest and antibiotics.

Nah, this is fine. Apokolips was going to be fucking obliterated unless Batman turned off the hellspores. What isn't fine is Batman surviving Final Crisis.

Everyone fighting the whitewalkers in the last season of Game of Thrones because the show would've just ended there otherwise.

Even Lord of the Rings had believable casualties.

In the first Devil May Cry, there's a scene where Dante gets impaled by a giant sword and he pulls it out by essentially pulling the sword the rest of the way through. Like, he grabs the blade and then pulls the entire hilt and handle through his body. After that point, I didn't even understand why the game had health bars

The flashes were being controlled by poison ivy tbf so they werent fully functional due to ivy's lack of ultra speed reflexes. Just thought it was funny to post it without context.

Now Deathstroke tripping a normal Flash is prob the real lowest point for the character maybe.

Then again, in Teen Titans he hits kid flash with a dart that paralyzes him all so he can shoot out his kneecap with a shotgun

I was thinking season 7 where Jon Snow somehow doesn't die of hypothermia after being on that lake for a day and falling into the water then carried by horse back to the wall.

Negan on TWD totally took me out of the series, quit the show when he was the antagonist.
