It is kinda weird that female idealization gets so much more outrage than male but it also kind of makes sense. I think part of the reason may be that males are the ones playing most of these games (and women often don't and thus don't really understand them). Women probably just find it threatening that men spend so much time with media that features ridiculous women. Reverse the roles and the reverse might happen.

It still isn't really rational to be threatened by vidya women though, because men have almost no standards. Hot video game women obviously aren't a threat, guys IRL will still fuck almost any woman. We're pathetic simps like that

There's no such thing as too much DLC, only DLC that isn't worth the money. Thankfully, almost all of TWW2's was.

Not sure why you'd even whine about such a thing in a game that will last you over 1000 hours anyway. I understand complaining about it in something like, idk, Batman, where your $10 will get you like 2 hours of entertainment. A campaign addon in these games gets you usually at least two new campaigns, each of which takes like 50 hours on the extreme low end to complete, plus unit roster additions.

But anyway, I'm waiting for the game to be a bit more polished since it has a few bugs right now. I'll probably end up waiting for a good sale, actually. But I'd probably play Khorne first since I loved Taurox's campaign which was similar from what I hear

The former is cringe and the latter is annoying. I think the former has more of a point though since a focus on diversity is a red flag (See: Ghostbusters 2, the VA change in Shadow Warrior 3, the writing in Borderlands in general, etc) and seems to get used as a criticism shield for a shitty product in some cases. Can't think of an example where a lack of diversity even occurred to me in a piece of media.

There's a weird thing I've noticed about the general public. They're much more likely to act when it comes to airing a minor grievance than they are to act against real abject harm and horrors being done unless it affects them personally. Idk what it is, maybe there's some subconscious fear of the same thing or similar being done to them if they do, but it's a common theme throughout history
