I don't like Isekai because they're mostly really lazy storytelling. The 'normal dude is in high fantasy' thing is a huge writing crutch because it lets the author avoid having to do intelligent worldbuilding or subtle cues to the audience because everything can be justifiably infodumped to the protagonist. It also lets the author skip on creating an interesting life history for the character and their place in the world because they have zero history with it. And they don't need any clever reason that the protagonist may be powerful because they're already alien to that world so when they break the 'rules' or have completely different power scaling, it's because they're alien.

And then with all that stuff that typically needs to be developed in a fantasy story discarded, isekais still typically fill its place with awful sex pandering and wish fulfillment stuff

I feel the same. But for the bolded part I think the problem is that most of the popular modern isekai's originated from light novels that are designed specifically for a certain demograph, which probably explains why these certain Isekai's always follow the same tropes and patterns. Because of this, it makes it hard for me to get into Isekai's, even though I know there is probably some out there I would probably enjoy that don't follow the same beats as other popular modern isekai's.

Besides the recent stuff, Pokimane hasn't really had any drama that I can remember. She's always been fairly clean in all the twitch drama. I did a quick google search just to make sure and couldn't find anything noteworthy.

Yeah I was being hyperbolic about it, but in my experience her name keeps getting brought up when something crazy happens on twitch.

there's too much from the source material that was omitted for time, and the decision to keep some of the stuff in and/or some of the changes made were questionable choices, IMO.

it should have at least been a series.

Yeah this about sums up from most of the reviews I read/watched about the Injustice movies. DC animated movies tend to be great, but this ain't one of them.

The first season was great because of all the mystery and world building. Once all that gets uncovered, it becomes a big mess. Sure the writer strike thing didn't help, but subsequent seasons was still a mess. Lots of wasted potential of a show.

Yes to AX. The golden years was 2007-2011 when it wasn't so fucking crowded. You can be late to a panel/event and still have seats. As of lately, it became Comic Con 2.0.

I like him. Been to one of his shows and it was a little awkward because he would make quite a few mistakes, but when the jokes land they are hilarious.

Yeah this is a more fair assessment.

Nikki French has a better "singing voice", but I prefer Bonnie Tyler because it has a realness to it that I really like.

I mean it's still a solid game even if it didn't hit all the elements correctly. Even with the negatives in the game, I think the pro's outshine it.

Friday the 13th was a lot of fun, too bad about the legal battle crap preventing them from doing any real updates to the game. I had more fun with that game because at least there was more variety to do than DBD.

You basically hit the nail on the head why Part 3 sucks, but it's well liked and known because it's the most recognizable part and the only part to get any form of recognition in the west at first.

I just watched a Philip DeFranco episode about this announcement and from the looks of it one of his friends try to buy it from a guy who was "sketchy", so they hired a professional from the BCE (Baseball Card Exchange) to see if the packaging and everything was legitimate or not. They said the packaging and everything was good until they opened the boxes and found out it contained GI Joe cards instead.

This, there was a infamous picture of an old person I know where the police announced someone passed away and the old person accidently posted a sticker of a Tasmanian devil waving and saying "good bye". It went viral and the worst part was that the old person doesn't even know they went viral.
