this is just how nijisanji is, I think. they also seem to give a lot more individual freedom to streamers so there's tons of variety in how often they stream, what sorts of things they stream, etc etc. I don't watch nijiJP much but I think their approach feels a lot more fitting for engish streamers and viewerbase than hololive's does, basically all of nijiEN is consistently more entertaining and interesting than holoEN imo

also don't forget that the nijiEN gens so far have only been 3 people each, so even with 3 gens it's not like they have tons and tons of streamers

the lava damage occurs on specific tiles that are visibly different. it's not random. if you're taking tons of damage from it it's your own fault lol

RD's my favourite of the fire emblem games I've tried. The constant swapping around of teams and party members helps keep things fresh in a way other games in the series I've tried don't

some assorted things I found help with the time limit (you may know them already)

• you can sleep at any campfire to fastforward time
• you can save time&effort by not landing your ship neatly. most of the time you aren't ever going to go back in it that loop so as long as you don't die on impact it doesn't matter how destroyed the ship gets
• somewhat spoilery? there's a guy on giant's deep you can talk to to learn how to instantly skip to the end of the loop from the pause screen, useful for when you're done with an area or stuck somewhere and just want to restart fast

my family does a bunch of assorted homemade tomato sauces and stuff around this time of year. talking multiple litres of spaghetti, lasanga, generic pasta sauces as well as just some plain tomato paste

it's really the only realistic way to use up our hundreds and hundreds of tomatos <_<

I did 32 for the last decorative statue and then basically stopped playing the game. Tried 32 again for old time's sake recently after months of not playing and made it to the final boss first try so I feel like I could probably get pretty consistent at it with practice but I don't really care enough, it's too intense/stressful

I think it can be ok but sometimes it bothers me a lot, like in hollow knight. that game's all about exploring and has tons of potential branching paths you can explore. If I die somewhere, I'd really like to have the freedom to just go a different random unexplored direction if I want instead of being forced to return down the exact paths I just went when there's so many new areas out there still to see

There's really two main things I think are neat about some sort of neutral route:

1) There's a ton of variety in dialogue, events, options, etc depending on which monsters you kill and which monsters you don't. The epilogue has probably 10+ variants, not that I think the average person will ever see more than one of them. This is mostly nice for comparison/contrast to a later pacifist run since it's cool seeing more stuff happen because more monsters are alive

2) The... surprise factor? for lack of a better word. The game has a certain theme/message that I think is best delivered when you walk into it totally unknowingly on a first playthrough where you've killed things. This is the bigger one imo and also the one that's not just a playstyle thing but also kinda requires you don't even have the concept of the pacifist route in the first place. Like sure the game says you can spare people, but it's not always obvious how, your cursor starts out on attack every single turn, and come on you want some exp don't you? The game does a very good job of portraying the monsters as the good guys (or at the very least, the neutral guys) rather than the bad guys and kinda putting forward this sort of "Are you really going to kill them? You sure that's the choice you want to make?" kind of question which I think falls a little flat if you've already decided before the game even starts that you're not killing anyone no matter what because you know that's how you get the coolest ending or whatever

not that there's really anything you can do about #2 nowadays

A regular neutral route is fairly bare bones.

neutral route is cooler than a lot of people give it credit for but a lot of that coolness comes from not really knowing about the existence of the various routes in the first place. once you know, you can't really un-know regardless of how much you pretend so I'd say by this point there's not really much point in it for the average person unless they somehow managed to totally avoid undertale spoilers until now (basically impossible if you spent any real amount of time on the english speaking internet in the past 5 years)

it's not unexplained, it's been explained like 5+ times in this topic alone <_<

for what it's worth, there are many other bizarre bugs that happen on catching/viewing/etc glitched pokemon or moves. just that most of them aren't particularly useful and so they're a lot less well known. missingno. doing something actually visibly useful isn't because it was made that way, it's because people have filtered out all the ones that just crash your game on encounter or transform into rhyhorn when caught or evolve into mankey four times in a row and then delete your save file

these sorts of mobile games often have really insane soundtracks, like you say "especially for a mobile game" but they make more money (and thus have more money to put into stuff like this) than you'd expect. at least, the ones that don't die within like 3 months

good topic though, I'd never heard any bgm from the game and these are all great

I made turnip green chips today. had some sitting around from thinning turnips but they were a bit old and too sad looking to just sorta cook normally in a pan so I figured if you can lay a bunch of kale out on a sheet and bake it to get kale chips, maybe the same would work here.

.... well, they weren't inedible at least. definitely wouldn't recommend it though. kale is sturdy enough to make it work but these basically just turned into some extremely thin papery things that instantly disintegrate in your mouth and leave you with this slightly burnt leaf taste

we could go anywhere during lunch as long as we were back for class. yes, this includes leaving the school area entirely

though there was one nearby restaurant that students from my school kept causing problems / creating messes at and eventually all students were banned from going there during lunch hour. so I guess technically we couldn't go anywhere but it was pretty close

Ah, just realized something (and of course I realized it after my above post is no longer editable -_-)

If they get an ID member into Umisea, they'll have to update the group's name as well into "Umisealaut" ("laut" is apparently the Indonesian word for "umi" / "sea")

And update the logo as well. Which is quite a bit of work to do considering the current logo's design (it incorporates the members into the logo), plus "Umisealaut" is a bit long, so maybe they'll keep this group strictly EN + JP.

basically everyone I know playing it is continuously expressing extreme increduality at how so many reviews were floating around saying 30-35 hours since it seems to be much longer. the only one of them I know who actually finished it is sitting at just under 60 hours total (with 5 of those being the final dungeon lol)

the one I find the best by far is the shield that you can load your casts into. insane aoe burst damage with very little cooldown and because just the very action of attacking makes you move around you're harder to hit. I guess the only downside is that you rely entirely on getting a good cast but there's so many ways to force boons in this game that it's not really an issue

I've seen tons of people saying the game runs real poorly because of the DRM, and I've watched someone stream it for about 10 minutes and in that time they encountered a bug significant enough they had to exit or reset or something from the menu

I haven't heard any real people say anything positive about it tbh <_<
