I honestly never got why people loved the ps2 era games so freaking much.

I always preferred arcade racers, which pretty much died.

Gran Turismo 3 was the game that made me love simulation racers. I had so much fun with that game. The license tests really helped my skills with the simulation physics. Music was great, the tracks were varied and there was a ton of cars to unlock and race with.

I even had a rivalry going with one of my neighbors at the time. We realized that winning the endurance races were how you unlock the F1 cars. It was a grind (2-3 hours to finish one of those races), but after, we'd meet up and go "You'll never beat me now. I unlocked a better F1 car!"

Hopefully Bungie being under Sony means that their next IP will have a better story than Destiny's "I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain."

Sex wins. Like, if I'm playing a game and she starts teasing me, I'm going to pause the game and go have sex. Although it was fun to try and see how long I could focus on the game.

That would be a safe bet. Demon Slayer is insanely popular right now. The animation is just so good. I just wish they would stop ending on massive cliffhangers. The last 5-6 episodes have just been non-stop cliffhangers.

Just Disgaea 5 so far. I think I'm close to beating Chorus, but I didn't want to play that while my son was around. So I "tried" Subnautica Below Zero "in the meantime" and now I'm 30 hours into that lol.

Learned in high school. We had a computer class where we practiced typing. The programs we used actually made it pretty fun lol.

You should be able to get a prebuilt with an rtx 3060 for $1200-$1400. That will get you a stable 60 fps in most games at 1440p. And a stable 30 fps in some of the more graphics intense games.

I don't have any brand recommendations, but any of the known companies should be fine.

I've yet to have that problem and I have lots of JRPG's in my Steam library. I don't have any visual novels though, so I guess that's what started your porn recommendations lol.

is it fun overall? i watched a bit on streams and it kinda seems like it would just get boring after like 5-10 hours of it. seems like a lot of stuff is just more tedious than fun. lack of trainers and longer battles seems pretty lame too.

but still seems like a big step in the right direction and if they do a sequel they can fix a lot of the mistakes. world seems too bare besides for the random pokemon around. if pokemon games ever went on sale i might pick it up but for now eh.

Yeah, I'm still on the fence about it too. I just have to resist the FOMO long enough for something else to release. Next big game for me is Dying Light 2.

But from what I've seen and heard, the battles are not long. One reviewer even commented that while the new Swift/Strong moves add a new layer to the combat, most battles aren't long enough for it to matter.

Agreed. It was really weird starting Pokemon Sword for the first time. That opening cutscene really felt like there should have been voice acting. There's a sound effect for the crowd cheering, but no voices.

They are huge worldwide. It's definitely possible to not know who they are, but chances are you've heard their music without realizing it. They've worked with tons of western artists, like Halsey, Ed Sheeran, Sia, Steve Aoki, Charli XCX, The Chainsmokers, Nicki Minaj, etc. The list goes on. It's not just their fans making them sound bigger than they are.

I'd be okay with that. I buy the Nintendo console every gen, so that would be one less console to buy. Plus, imagine the fun mods the community would make if they released on PC. I remember I soft modded my Wii and I had these crazy modded Brawl characters. Explosions everywhere.

I feel like they'd only be illegal if they were unsafe to eat, or they became endangered.

If you missed it before, then you probably missed getting her support high enough or going with her to watch her coronation in Chapter 11.

To get the option to join Edelgard, you need to follow these steps.
1: Choose Black Eagles as the house you want to pick.
2: Get Edelgard to a C+ support before Chapter 11 starts.
3: Talk to Edelgard in the Entrance Hall while exploring the monastery during Chapter 11.
4: Choose to go with Edelgard to Embaar and watch her coronation.
5: During the final battle of Chapter 11, you will be forced to fight Edelgard, Hubert, and the Imperial army no matter how many steps you completed. Complete the battle and the cutscene will play. Defeating them in this battle DOES NOT kill them.
6: During the cutscene if you have followed all the previous steps you will have the option to either kill her or join her. Choose Join Her to go the Crimson Flower (Edelgard) route.

To people saying them not paying is no issue, yes it is if they just rushed the train and didn't pay. If the city or I guess whoever owns the subway made an exception then sure, but that is why more context here would be nice.

Ofc the irony of all this is the subway is publically owned and if they let the public vote on whether they should pay I bet they would vote they should lmao. Or so I assume it is, never been to NYC.

I say that the police not paying isn't an issue, because their funding comes from the same place (government funding). Making them pay would just be redundant.

And no, the subway isn't publicly owned. It's owned by the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), which is a government agency.

The story was disappointing considering there is almost no build up to the Rose antagonist scenario like you mentioned. However, if they made you fight Macro Cosmos goons too early it would have incriminated Rose too soon. Should have made a fake organization to temporarily represent them, but even that sort of plot is over done. Team Yell being the antagonist group for most of the game was a bad idea given how poor their motivation is. Lastly, even with the DLC, the end of Rose's story arc is left on a cliffhanger. This makes me think there will be a sequel game. Be glad they at least left those game clock exploits in the game and didn't patch them. Makes making money, and more importantly competitive Pokemon a hell of a lot more easy and fast than it used to be.

Yeah, that's a good point Macro Cosmos being bad guys would give Rose away too early. And oh god, I hope they don't do a Sword and Shield 2. The next game needs to be on a new map.

And believe me, I'm very glad they left the exploits in lol.

I remember a lot of the hate being the GF laziness. Reused models, missing pokemon, etc.

I enjoyed the game overall. The gym's were fun and varied, the Wild Area is cool and I like the Gigantamax designs. My main issue though, is how weirdly the story is done. Basically there's the whole plot line with Rose playing out in the background, that you don't get to see because the game railroads you onto the 8 gym battle plot line. You could have had more involvement, maybe battling Macro Cosmos members more, while seeing that some shady things are actually going on. Instead of it coming out of nowhere at the end. It's really poorly executed.

I'm also not a fan of how many of the game's systems are tied to the Switch's clock. Having to constantly change the date and time on my Switch, just to get things done, is really annoying.

The "fare evasion" thing is pretty much a non-issue. But if wearing a mask is mandated on the subway, then they should all be wearing their damn masks. I'd be pissed if I was on that subway and caught covid because of them.

The first Ridge Racer. First 3D game i saw and it really wowed me.

If you're playing on PC, yes. It's actually a solid game. Not Game of the Year or anything, but still enjoyable.

If you're playing on PS4 or Xbox One though... Nah don't give it another try yet. Still doesn't play well on last gen consoles.

Nah. I haven't been interested in handheld gaming since I graduated high school in 2006. I just don't have any scenarios where I'd need it.

We'll see how well they price it and how many games will actually be added to their catalogue day 1.

If you have that much free time, I think most single player games would work, save for a few games that don't let you pause cutscenes.

Agreed, Front Mission would be amazing. Have to use emulators to play them on PC though. I don't think any of the games have ever been ported from their original consoles.
