My last 2-in-1 was a Surface Pro 4 with an i5, 128GB storage, and 4 gigs of RAM. It had a ton of hardware issues over time like the device ceasing to recognize the official Microsoft keyboard and forcing me to use really unreliable Bluetooth solutions. With the RAM especially, general operation of this laptop should be a lot more comfortable than my Surface was. And it comes with a decent touchscreen itself, and a keyboard that's actually attached to the chassis and isn't a floppy two dimensional screen cover. I really, really hope it works out, all I can do is wait and see now. If there's no really serious issue, I'll have copped this thing at a pretty outrageous price. The fact that this sell page just had a couple machines also makes me hope they were just getting rid of some unmoving inventory and not that any blemishes are serious enough to warrant the price cut. --- |

I keep going out of my way to somewhere I couldn't go before using say the space jump but they also made sure to gate that place with a red door or whatever that you couldn't see before, or a new X wall that requires a better explosive, etc. I'm not saying it's a bad game but I'm ultimately liking it less than Super Metroid. --- |

| Doe 10/13/21 11:00:22 PM #36 | Three phase boss where it can grab you for 2-3 energy tanks and then immediately regrab you because you don't get i-frames after the slam, and it shoots fire from every direction that you can shoot its weak spot from which goes through your ice missiles and then lingers onto the ground, which will pop you into the air and trigger his grab if you touch it. Then he starts bouncing around the screen at increasing speed dropping projectiles on you that can block your missiles from reaching him and letting him hit you again, and then you also have to go through the (admittedly easy for this boss) mucous membrane thing phase. It'd be one thing if you didn't have to come all the way from your ship through multiple winding rooms to get to him. But you do. It's just a shockingly lower quality part of the game compared to everything that's come before it, and frankly compared to any boss in Super Metroid. --- |

The writing is good, but a lot of it boils down to memes and sight gags. The story is cool and the concept of "determination" is good, especially for how it works in previous save files and reloads...but it's not in the same league as games like LttP, OOT, MGS1-4, Final Fantasy 6/7/8/9, Pokemon (any version), RDR2, GTA:SA/IV/V, DMC 1/3/5, etc.LttP/OoT/Pokmon do not have great stories. Some great set pieces and iconic character designs, sure, but their stories are pretty plain. Personally I'd also say that about FF and DMC. Undertale's sight gags are more concentrated near the early/mid game, it takes things much more seriously when you begin real progression towards one of the non-neutral endings. Gobstoppers12 posted... I take some solace in knowing that when the "game of the decade" poll came out a while back, Undertale got dark-smashed by Octopath Traveler in the poll. Its meme popularity wore out. It can't undo the sham we got back then, but at least the natural order returned, albeit too late.Octopath has some of the most offensive storylines I've seen in a videogame including a positive depiction of Stockholm syndrome for Therion's arc. If you root for that game over Undertale it really just shows how much the Best Game Ever poll got under your skin for having 'outsiders' vote in it. --- |
