it was an option in a few games, but they did the same mechanic in all of them - you get three hints to the objective's location and have to figure it out yourself.

Except the hints took up half the screen and it always ended up being really simple shit lol

Probably not the best idea to go around calling people dumb when you clearly can't read

"Charges were brought before an investigation" -> definitely not as clear as "Charges were made before an investigation was *conducted*, *launched*" or any other number of possible options. The exclusion of an adjective for investigation makes it sound like they were investigating according to the charges.

Yahoo! would have won out back in the day, they had such a great service between the IM platform, the games and the Answers! website.

Now it's just a nasty ugly shell of what it was.

I don't necessarily use MSN but since it's tied to all the other Microsoft shit I do use my MSN account more frequently... so I guess that wins by default. I do use Bing for searching and stuff, too, gotta get my reward points.

I've played through both and they are both fun but for different reasons. Just gonna say straight up between the two that Red Dead Redemption 2 is a significantly better crafted experience in every possible way, and that would be my recommendation without a second guess.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is infinitely better when it comes to world design - realistic geography and flora and fauna, you feel like just another person in a lived-in-world, there's a lot of variety in landscape, and it is extremely gorgeous. The map is actually a very huge territory comprising multiple towns and forests, mountains, desert and swamp.

Gameplay is slower in RDR2 in general but it is very relaxing and therapeutic. There's a bigger emphasis on the writing than on the action, but this makes the action feel actually special instead of just being something you're immersed in constantly. And there's actual side content to engage in, particularly hunting and fishing, gathering herbs and crafting foods and potions.

RDR2 also has a very extensive online mode with even more stuff to do.

CP2077's world design was pretty bad. It is visually exciting but everything feels dead. The NPCs do not aid in this illusion (unless they've been patched, they would do things like repeat one phrase a million times, or a group of NPCs would react in a perfectly synchronized identical manner to things like gunshots). 90% of the action takes place in the city, you do travel out to a desert for some missions but it's empty.

Gameplay is way more freeform than in RDR2, you have more freedom in how you play. You can improve "Hacking" (it's basically this game's magic), use blades and silenced weapons for stealth, run around with shotguns... You develop in an RPG fashion (get experience, unlock new skills), and you usually have enough points that you can feasibly do about three unique playstyles off of one character.

There's a serious schism in the flow of the gameplay. The main story is slow and drags on, with extensive dialogue sequences between action. This wouldn't be terrible if the story weren't just mediocre. What really engaged me was the side content, which is perfectly spaced across the map... you can just roll around for several hours at a time between crime alerts and treasure hunt stuff, clearing them out left and right in different ways (maybe you run around and shoot everyone in one area, the next mission you stealth it up). The dopamine rush was pretty good.

As a PC gamer it was worse than CP (I know that game was terrible on PS4 though) because at least I could play it and enjoy it.

But yeah my biggest gripe with these games is that they put some work into updating the graphics. This had the effect of ruining the ambience of each game (GTA3 is no longer dark and grimy and foggy, Vice City is no longer vibrant and bright and distinctly neon, they're all like... the same brightness factor). Plus you have things like overly reflective cars driving on roads with flat, repetitive plastic-looking textures and crisp clean colors.

I was actually excited just to relive some of the moments from the original games tbh but the lack of respect for customers killed me.

No, don't give Rockstar money for shitty work. I bought it, it was alright, graphically didn't make sense, wasn't any sort of improvement over the originals... and then they took the servers offline and I couldn't play it for over a day.

It's sad but Rockstar sank a lot from where they used to be.

Whats exactly so bad about it compared to the other battlefields? I've been looking for a casual game after hitting some lengthy jrpgs for a while now
It's fine, they just toned down a *lot* of cosmetic customization options and made the teams feel generic.

Map design is really great and leads to really dynamic matches, but visually they are underwhelming - there's enough detail to set the scene, but not enough detail to really make it feel like you're in a lived in world. So from an immersion perspective it's really weak, but from a gameplay perspective the maps are fine.

Also people don't like things like the weapon and specialists are common between teams. I don't mind this *too* much, in previous Battlefield games you usually unlocked the ability to choose whatever weapon you wanted after a certain point anyway. But it honestly does feel like a lazy design choice. The story is also dumb as shit, I hate the idea of "notepads" ("non-patriates") and their voiceovers... you just don't feel like you're fighting for the US or Russia in either case, just playing a really huge first person shooter game.

It's great for casual play though imo. Really easy to get in to, really fun to fuck around in. I don't know if they fixed it yet but the hovercraft is OP as shit, you put the 40 mm grenade launcher on there and you and your friends can just party van it up. Plus, probably by glitch, you can actually drive the thing up buildings, which I wind up doing every chance I can. Funniest shit ever.

Anyway these are just snippits. It's not perfect, there are performance issues (though they just released a hotfix for some of those). If you want more info or have questions about specific features let me know.

I haven't touched Hazard Zone mode yet at all, and have only dabbled in Portal (played enough matches to unlock a customization option for my Player Card...).

It's been fine. People are upset because it "has specialists and I don't want COD or Overwatch" (even though the specialists are almost meaningless and just confer one perk and one piece of equipment, not enough to radically change how each one plays, plus there's no limit on how many people can play as who.

Game hasn't even formally launched yet, and yeah on the early access day there were some server issues but DICE actually cleared them up relatively quickly (at least communicated it, too, unlike Rockstar with the GTA Trilogy release).

There are some performance and rubberbanding issues but they've already identified these to be fixed in an upcoming patch.

Like for Battlefield launches it's pretty standard. They've always had issues, sometimes really obnoxious ones (I'll always remember 2's server-side memory leak after they rescaled the rank requirements).

This like never happens though, there's only maybe one really big map but for the most part combat is constantly happening somewhere.

Big maps have been a thing since 1942.

And there is a Rush-style game mode where you're guaranteed to be in action non-stop.

The Teaching Assistants finally figured out that he wasn't going to do his job, and they took it upon themselves to grade the papers.

However, most graders do want to do their job. They just get busy with other stuff sometimes
