So the mortgage bank holds the insurance money for you, and then when you're insurance payment is due (because it isn't due monthly, like your mortgage), the mortgage company just wires them the money. So, lets say your mortgage payment is $1700 a month. $1500 of it is to actually pay down your mortgage, and $200 is to pay your insurance. --- It takes zero effort to be a good person. |

It's the "Golden Rule" without all the other BS that is attached with Religion. And even if it's making up my "own rule" (even though I wasn't the one to make it up) it's a great rule to live by. My fate in the afterlife shouldn't be based on how often I go into a building with a cross on the roof to express how much I believe, or whether I put a $5 bill or a $20 bill in the collection plate, etc. If I get to the "pearly gates" and whoever the gatekeeper is doesn't let me in because I didn't put enough money in the collection plate, or I ate meat on Fridays during Lent, but was otherwise a great person, I'm not sure that's a place I want to spend my days eternal anyway. I have ZERO fear of what happens to me when I die, because I live my life giving everyone the respect they are due, even if they do not deserve it. --- It takes zero effort to be a good person. |

At the age where they can hang out with their friends without it being a "play date". So a lot of these moms are coming to grips with the fact that a lot of the other moms from sports and other group activities were more just acquaintances they had through their kids. I kinda see it too. Now that my son is old enough to play middle school Baseball and has aged out of town ball, I don't see nearly as many parents as I used to when I coached his teams. --- It takes zero effort to be a good person. |
