Police said the man, Akito Araki, of unknown occupation, entered the restaurant in the basement of a building in Yoyogi, Shibuya Ward, Fuji TV reported. He had dinner and then at around 9:30 p.m., he gave the manager a note in which he said he had activated a home-made bomb in a box. He also brandished two knives, ordered other customers out of the restaurant and told the manager to call 110. Araki locked the door and barricaded it with chairs. He refused to come out while police negotiated with him. The stand-off continued until about 12:30 a.m. when police decided to break in. The manager was able to escape out the back door and was not harmed. Police said three objects wrapped in adhesive tape with cell phones attached were found in the box but none were explosive devices. Police did not say what the objects were. Araki was quoted by police as saying he had been homeless for the past two weeks since coming to Tokyo from Nagasaki and wanted to end his life. He told police he thought that if he committed a major crime, he would get the death penalty. Now refered too as 1.5) The game was roughly 50% complete but the devs hated it and thought it wasn't holding up. So they literally started over and went with the wooden "It used to be an Art Museum" police station thing. All the paperwork was in order and signed in the traditional Japanese manner of a hanko stamp bearing the owners family name. The only problem was that the woman had no idea what was happening. Although everyone has one unique registered hanko for signing documents, less official back-up stamps can also be easily bought at most stationery stores for less important purposes like signing for packages or letters from school. While such a stamp wouldnt hold up if challenged in court, it was enough to pass a basic check in this case. Presumably, after either the man or the government broke the news to the new bride, she immediately called the police. They were then able to cancel the marriage registration before it was finalized. Pinellas County Sheriff's Office records show Sarah Franks, 29, and Kaitlin O'Donovan, 27, were arrested Monday on burglary charges and held on $75,000 bond. They have since been released. The two women were accused of showing up to the victim's apartment on Monday around 3 a.m., at which point they began to argue with him from his ground-level patio, FOX 13 reported, citing an arrest affidavit. At that point, Franks and O'Donovan allegedly threw a container of glitter at the victim, hitting his head and torso. The front wheel of the truck slipped over the edge of a cliff near the city of Changzhi in Shanxi Province in northern China after the driver attempted to reverse However, as the road became increasingly narrow the driver decided to go back down the mountain, but was unable to turn his truck. Instead, he began reversing the lorry, edging between the rock face on one side and a steep cliff on the other. One of the truck's wheels slipped off the roadway, leaving the vehicle dangling perilously over the cliff.
