You don't see his dick, and you don't see him beating off. You just see a boob, hear what's happening and then see the nut on his hand.

If they'd actually showed Shinji touching his entry plug, I'm sure the scene wouldn't have made it into the movie. It probably helps that it's meant to be disgusting too, if it had been anything other than the awful, uncomfortable experience it was intended to be it probably wouldn't have made it then either.

Going out and party is a priority?
Alot of people are struggling to make ends meet, the current situation isnt even normal. And Im not even talking the virus, Im talking about jobs, economy, cars, finding things, etc.
Of course, but I've spent the last eight years in a rough patch and I'm finally in a position where I can stand on my own two feet and enjoy life without caveats. Forgive me for wanting to party and fuck around for a hot second before I get serious with the rest of my life, and being disappointed because global circumstances beyond my control dictate that I can't do that.

There's a cinema guy in my favorite discord server. He called it an awe-inspiring masterpiece.

And like here's the thing about this guy, he's a snob. Watched the Cowboy Bebop anime, wasn't a big fan. Very against like DC and Marvel movies, CGI slugfests that feel like your brain is rotting. Pretty snobby, but I feel like he's direct and honest and I think he knows what he's talking about.

I'm thinking about games I wanna play this year. So far I've decided it's gonna be a JRPG heavy year, because they were some of my fondest media experiences last year.

Top priority: Atelier Dusk trilogy

Mid priority: Digimon Cyber Sleuth

Low priority: Persona 4

The reason P4 is low priority is because I have to play it on my laptop, and right now I don't have a tenable set-up to make a full Persona 4 playthrough tenable. I'm planning to move this year, so when I get a place and I've settled in, that's when Persona 4 will become a priority.

That, or if something fucked up and traumatic happens to me and I need a comfort game.

I wanted Dread to win, but It Takes Two was worthy enough imo. The thing about it that bugged me the most is that it was clearly a set-up to get Josef Fares on stage to try and get a bit of meme magic, which felt hollow and cynical after the rest of the show was such a dogshit showcase.

I'm sorry that your family hasn't been good to you throughout your life. It's tempting to just say "family ain't shit, go and live your life", but I can understand how despite the hardships and the alienation, you would want to be close to them. Family, for better or for worse, is a connection that you can fall back on.

It sounds like you're really trying, although you realise how toxic their influence and their direct interactions with you have been. That's a hard fucking pill to swallow - I'm sorry, and I hope the realisation hasn't been too destabilizing.

With that being said, all I can really offer beyond what I've already said is something I brought up earlier. Family ain't shit. You're your own person, a completely unique individual, and you need to live your life if the relationship with your family is as toxic as you're saying it is. If this stuff is weighing you down, fuckin cut ties and bail if you can.

I can't speak for the quality of your other relationships, and I get that it's harder to meet new people and make new friends the older you get, but in this case the blood of the covenant seems like it'd be thicker than the water of the womb. You deserve better than to be dragged down by decades of trauma and abuse, capped off by a family unit that to this day is such a source of despair and dysfunction that you're realising there's little to no redeeming qualities to being around them.

Burn your bridges, live your life on your own merits and be free. It may not be a popular choice, people may be upset by it, but you deserve to live your life on your own merits and find happiness the way you want to.

I just found a website called MusicStack that helped me track down a rare CD I've been interested in. I got into this band called the Weepies, it was a husband and wife duo who played like indie folk music. They got divorced at the start of 2020, and they only announced it in December of 2021 when they also announced their last shows ever. They're playing their last shows this month.

Their first album is from 2003, and it's called Happiness. Out of print for years, obscure and arcane as you can be. I was lucky enough to find my favorite album of theirs for a good price, and I could never find a copy of Happiness at all - it's the one CD of theirs that's the hardest to find.

With the break-up, I decided that I wanted to collect all their music on CD so I'd always have access to it. So I just went on a search binge for used CD stores.

And that's where MusicStack comes in, because they have every Weepies album. Every last one. Down to Happiness.

They were also advertising a 7'' single of Suffragette City and Starman on their front page, so I think this website is the real fucking deal for musicheads (is this a term?). If you guys are looking for music, check out MusicStack.

That's probably the one area where the forums were useful. I think that given how ubiquitous and well-known IMDB was back then, it was a breeding ground for trolls and bitter old shitheads, as well as for cinephiles who could find community in their obscure faves and legitimately discuss cinema.

I'm glad to hear that the forums weren't all bad, but a majority of what I saw was the absolute worst.

The IMDB forums were mostly full of bitter old people and trolls. Racist jokes and comments about black actors, sexist comments about actresses being sluts or - in the case of someone who's spoken about about being raped - outright saying they actually enjoyed it, and variations of the Rod Stewart story where any actor they believed to be gay had to get their stomach pumped because of all the cum they ingested - the IMDB forums were dogshit.

I was into forums and shit back then, the IMDB forums were particularly low quality and trashy beyond compare. There was no redeeming quality to them, at least not compared to all of the horseshit that came with them.
