I found a Wii by sheer dumb luck in 2006 when a truckload got dumped off at Best Buy when I was there. I didn't hesitate.

Pretty good for a straightforward story given how much lore the game goes through. And I mean physically. Wheatley is a great addition and the dialogue is tight - not to mention several pretty hilarious things strewn throughout.

Like with Portal 1, this was a triumph.

I don't think Phil would be a particularly good fit for several villain songs tbh. His voice is too friendly, so even when he's ripping his ex-wife a new one (think "I Don't Care Anymore"), it doesn't sound as vicious as the lyrics actually are. (Remember: I have seen him live.)

In fact, of the ten animated films Disney has formally adapted for the stage, 7 of then were from the Renaissance:

I'd say all this is related in the reverse way too: The music and its plot integration was hugely responsible for the Renaissance being so great. Part of why it ended was Disney no longer caring to do that; most of the early 00s movies had a good song or two (Brother Bear in particular) but they didn't get woven in as intricately.

Your options are:
1. Follow a MAX S-Link guide to the letter, without deviating from it
2. Do a second playthrough, where you have slightly more leeway. Keep in mind this is a 100+ hour game and that the extra leeway only amounts to a few days in-game, so you're still gonna need a guide.

Like everyone else, I say go with #1, because the S-Links in FES were not very well-designed for a multitude of reasons. It's considerably better in P4 and P5, where you can have a month of days left over. You can actually play the "social" aspect more.

You don't need a guide for anything other than the Social Links. Dungeon floors are randomly generated (including chests) and there are a few side places where there's not much to miss.
