It's nowhere near the sprawling fun Valak Mountain or the moody ambience of Satori.It's where the party is finally complete, and where the story temporarily becomes less epic and much more intimate. Obviously the spoiler stuff is the most touchy-feely, but even cutscenes like Melia/Riki/Dunban are really sweet - it's like the entire party let's their guards down and opens up. I'd rank it ahead of places like the Ether Mine and Bionis Interior even before it opens up on the late game. And once it does open up, there's really no question. IIRC, it's one of only two areas that gives the party a ton of level 90 mobs to farm, and it's the more interesting of the two. Anyway, it'll help to perma-kill the zombies in the two hallways right outside the mansion's two save points.
