I remember most of the details, the important ones at least, so I sit firmly at the human side of the chessboard. Episode 1 does seem to actually deliver many important clues that perhaps get obfuscated as the magic side becomes a bit more compelling. Episode 1 gives an interesting secondary viewpoint (aside from Battler) in terms of Natsuhi. Considering her importance in the backstory behind Yasu, on a re-read I'd consider her narration pretty reliable. So question: how does the Shannon=Kanon never get exposed? Like I know the servants are in on it, and that you could explain that the family isn't around the servants for most of the time...but Natsuhi is. I can understand the trick from every other perspective that isn't Krauss/Natsuhi/Jessica. I know it's explained in episode 6 or 7, but I always thought it was kind of flimsy. might post more thoughts as i go, i might not. dont know. --- |
