How do we feel?

As an open-minded individual, Why not?

We know corruption exists at basic levels of society, does anyone really believe it cant exist at higher levels?

Does anyone not question why theyre trying to get to Mars, who theyre going to take with them, and what laws theyre going to implement about population and education there?

I brought it to the bar once and a bunch of people play Mario Kart with me.

The odds of somebody getting that mad at you for just driving are far, far, far lower than if you blatantly cut somebody off or try to provoke them by flipping them off, flashing a sign, or cursing. It's like the difference between leaving your car unlocked in your garage vs leaving it unlocked out on the street in the worst part of town with a sign in the window letting people know it's unlocked.

I passed a guy over a dashed double-solid and he flipped me off as I was passing him. Not sure what that was about, but I found out right afterwards that my brakes were in working condition.

This cost me almost CAD $200.

...its an 8oz pour, and its a 30mm GAU-8 round. Comes with three shot glasses, made from GAU-8 casings, at 2.7oz each. I wanted to share this thing in case someone else was interested, but not sure if we can.

Man, if you need wood in Runescape, you can just buy it from the GE.

Its 32 here and I did a full move from storage on the reserve into the eighth floor of a new condo. They had central air at the condo, and it was cranked. So that was a bit of a life-saver.

Its not a dysfunction if thats what youre after.

Same sort of deal with Fifth Element.

I could never get into The Fifth Element. I really tried. When I first saw it, I went into it thinking it was a serious movie, but it ended up being mostly silly.

I know. I was just saying that its one of my favourites and I still think Event Horizon is better (more agreeing with you about Event Horizon). I like the visuals/colour more than anything else in Prometheus, anyways.

What did you think of Covenant? I was disappointed they didnt do a Prometheus 2 originally.

Anyways you got your hands on a very rare version, I think this edition was released in 2006 if Im not mistaken. Underrated and way better than Prometheus, Alien Covenant, and all identity/emotional sci-fi crap released nowadays.

Prometheus is one of my favourites also. But yeah, I feel like the 80s and 90s did better justice for this style of movie.

Would that scene be just included in the main movie? Ill have to look into that.

75. Today that is CAD $128.09, or $105.77 for you. Although it wont have fluctuated much from a couple days ago.

Well Canadian version probably has better ingredients since the American government allows a ton of cheap chemicals in food products.

Samsung fridges with the screen in them are the heaviest things Ive moved. I did a double-oven once that fucked-up my back, but it was lighter than that fridge.

I assume youre talking about those wall-unit ACs. Theyre nothing. But installation is another issue in itself. Dont get one of those ones capt posted a pic of. Theyre unwieldy.

Get a two-wheeler or a four-wheeler with straps and pack it yourself or with a friend.

Seatbelts have an annoying side effect of being uncomfortable or restricting your movement. I've only been in one accident (other person was at fault), and it would have been a hell of a lot worse without those precautions.

Not to mention not being sick this past year doesn't really count for much, if you and those around you were following all the proper precautions (distancing, masks and sanitizing). I haven't been sick either, and if I do get covid then the vaccine will minimize the severity.

Seatbelts dont go inside you, and dont cause seizures or death on occasion once applied. Its simply a No. from me.

That seems like a bad analogy since if you're young (heck or any all other than old) and you're relatively healthy then getting covid isn't actually that big of a deal except in exceptionally rare cases, to the point many have had it and never noticed. I can't think of a situation where you could be in a car accident so minor it had no adverse effects on you or the car.

Remember that the vaccine was orginally pushed not because of the danger covid presented to the average person but because that average person could infect a vulnerable person who might actually get seriously ill or die. Most of those people are vaccinated themselves or still social distancing yeah? In that case what real reason is there for a healthy young person who (say in my case) interacts with few people to spend the time to go get it?

I work as a mover currently, and I move a lot of people into assisted-living homes. Most of them say theyd rather spend their final year(s) with family, and not meant to feel afraid and stuck in a tiny apartment by themselves. Theyre dying alone because the government has decided for them that they need (want) to be protected. Thank God its looking pretty good for summer, but too little too late for those already passed.

Im not likely to get sick, especially with Covid. So I dont need the vaccine that is stated to not fully protect against it and may cause all kinds of severe reactions.

I think you hit the nail on the head. The election results are irrelevant, because the electoral college vote is the only vote that actually matters, and they have already voted for Biden.

If the Republicans don't like that, they can do away with the electoral college, as has been suggested before by Democrats. But they won't, because then they will never have a pathway to victory ever again.

Funny, its the exact opposite here in Canada. Which is why the Liberals keep going back on their word to change the election system(s) (voter ID not required, FPTP).

My cousin, the professor at UBC, said one of his colleagues was pressured by the university to get vaccinated. She did, and she suffered a seizure immediately afterwards. On the other hand, I havent been sick in almost two years, so I have no plans to take this vaccine at all, no. And yes, I will be able to pass a Covid test to enter countries that are choosing to go the route of vaccine entry.
