I enjoyed Tsuruya's Challenge, although overall, it doesn't feel like they progressed the story in any meaningful way. I feel like they only acknowledged the events of Surprise once, and it was just a quick passing reference. I don't know if it gives me any real hope that Tanigawa is planning to write another one any time soon, although they did do a little foreshadowing at the end, as well as acknowledging and lampshading his own Chekhov's Gun from Intrigues. Regardless, I'm glad to have more Haruhi after all this time. --- |

I just like the floor falling away to create a star, and you actually have to put some effort into it. I also enjoy good atmosphere in a final boss, which is why I enjoy Mario Galaxy's last boss even though it's not any different than the first two. I just like the setting and the music. --- |
