Gaming is a waste of time anyway. There are way better things to devote your time to. Personally i am impressed anymore by the improvements in games. What helped with my depression was antidepressants and exercise. You gotta push through the first 3 weeks and after that you feel better.

In my nutrition book it said 3grams of fish oil and green tea every day cures depression. In general fish oil does wonders for the body. I have also heard that most people are deficient in magnesium, so you can also try taking a magnesium supplement.

The reason we lack the folks who build our infrastructure is because for like 3 generations the academic system has been pushing college instead of promoting both college and trades. Like, we all know that the salaries of CEOs and other administrators and executives needs to be reduced and redistributed amongst the lower entry level jobs to stimulate the economy. We know that the rich do not pay their fair share in taxes, so we have to go after them as well. Hoarding wealth should be a crime, that money needs to be reinvested in america and not sitting in a bank account.

Rent is ridiculous. Every year they raise the rent by like $50. In 10 years that's $500 increase...sometimes they raise by more too.

Stupidest shit ever. Another stupid thing is how now you have to apply online for any corporate job. Paper applications were so much easier than online applications where you have to create an account with a username and password with a bunch of restrictions. Fucking awful.

SAO is like that. First season is good, second season is weird. SAO gun gale online is really good, then the 2nd half is weird. SAO aliciziation is brilliant and kind of worth the bullcrap character development episodes.

I forget which book it was either ezequiel or jeremiah but it starts describing angels...super freaky stuff. Then in zecheriah dude is just talking to them like its no big deal, i would be terrified.

I have lots of time to do it. I got through like 30 chapters tonight cuz i could not sleep but because of my mental illness most days the information feels super dense so i cannot even get through 1 chapter...that is why it took me so long.

I actually really appreciate you taking time to write this out. You're probably not going to like this, but I actually used to work in sales. I should know better, because eventually I did just kind of lose emotion when it came to getting rejected, and just started offering to the customer without caring. Just do it, that's basically the lesson here.

If you did sales that is basically like dating. You get a bunch of no's at first and then you start to get a hang of the folks who give you yes's so then it is just a matter of being polite and inviting them to your world. Does the opposite sex intimidate you? I will be sincere, do not try to have sex with your dates, i found you make a better impression by not being into women purely for their sex appeal. Think about what qualities a woman needs to possess in order to win YOU over and go from there, that is a point of confidence and knowing what you want. Try and save sex for after marriage. Get head or give head and whatnot but do not give up your virginity to just anyone. If you are going to do that save yourself the trouble and hire escorts/prostitutes, just being real.

I feel like this is how bad things happen to people. They get drunk or high or intoxicated and decide to go exploring and they veer off their normal timeline and something unfortunate happens to them.

Literally just in my room on the phone since i made this thread. I could go to the bar but i will probably end up spending money and i am also staying away from bad places. I do not have a car so going anywhere further than walking distance is out of the question too.

*sigh* i guess i could go to the gym but i do not really feel like getting sweaty either...

*sigh* its times like these i wish i had someone to be bored with. I could be learning something right now i guess but i do not really feel like it. Getting older kind of sucks. Cannot really depend on anyone nowadays.

I will say this, i have been improving myself a whole lot the last 2 years. It does not feel like i am doing enough.

I recommend a sales job to get over your fear of rejection. Rejection is a natural process. Even really good looking people get rejected because we are taught to fear strangers and most of the time it is true what you said. A person only approaches you because they want something, it might not necessarily be money, it could just be the energy that comes with a good deed etc.

The fact of the matter is this, if you want to stop being single you need to start putting yourself out there, if you look like crap start hitting the gym, eating well and dressing to impress, it is not that hard to find a match in real life. It is a heck of a lot easier than through dating apps. Just be careful bro.

I am 22 and this incident happened a year and a half ago. I had just moved into my first apartment and was in the process of moving in. The door that led into my apartment locks itself automatically when closed. So, I was going to the entrance of the apartment complex to get my mail while talking on the phone with my boyfriend. I returned to my apartment and sat on the bed while opening the mail while using the phone, I dropped the phone on the floor and it landed under the bed so I had to lie on the floor and stretch for it. I saw something that caught my eye, there was someone under my bed... My eyes widened and I choked the urge to scream. The person under my bed was lying still with his back towards me and his head to his chest, so I couldn't see his face. And he didn't see me, trying to be rational while so many thoughts rushed through my head, I picked up the phone, said "Sorry I dropped my phone, I'm just gonna take a shower and call you back."

The bathroom is right by my bed so I hastily walked in, quietly locked the door, turned the shower on, jumped out my window (my apartment is on the first floor) and called the police. They told me to wait nearby, but to go to across the street and see if anyone comes out the door to the apartment complex. This was during summer and it was still light out, I placed myself across the street, hiding behind a car while watching my open bathroom window and the entry door. I called my boyfriend and he came to me just before the police. I gave them my keys and they went inside. Only moments later two cops came out holding a thin and tired looking man. His eyes looked crazy, but he didn't try to get away. The policeman that had stood beside me and comforted me while the police searched through my house (I was a mess, shivering and crying) told me that the man stood outside my bathroom door with one of my kitchen knives waiting for me to come out.

This man had somehow crept in my entry door while I was getting my mail and hid under the bed. The man that was trying to hurt me turned out to be a homeless person and was placed in a mental hospital. My boyfriend moved in with me the very next day.

This literally scared the shit out of me. I read "psychosis" and from my understanding the main character goes insane due to an episode of psychosis triggered by a malicious email and his own loneliness? Did i understand it correctly? Unless i missed something that story is not very good. The ending was sad i will admit i felt bad for him, but overall it was a bit silly...i do know stuff like that does happen but it was just too...i dunno straight forward?

I have very little knowledge of mtg but i already started collecting alpha set cards. They are relatively inexpensive(at least the ones i buy which are the commons). I just do not know if very many folks are gonna be interested in these in the future? I have like no clue what cards exist for the alpha set and there are also like 300 cards. So there is a lot.

Pokemon on the other hand i grew up with. I know the first 100 or so pokemon rather well. If i collected these i would have a better idea of what i had. The only problem is right now these cards are kind of expensive, but i suppose i could start collecting the not so valuable ones as they probably only cost a few dollars i imagine.

I feel like with magic it could be a good investment to continue collecting since it was the first tcg but pokemon on the other hand is easily much bigger than mtg so it is more collectable imo.

Id like to get your opinions on this. Should i invest in pokemon or should i keep investing in mtg alpha?

Is there a reason the price of these cards have pretty much doubled within the last year? Or is the pricing i am looking at only for graded cards?

I purchased 3 Alpha limited edition cards last year and am up around $100 if the values i am seeing are for ungraded cards.
