I hate this feeling. Talking about it sort of helps but dang man. Is everyone living life with a feeling of dreadful bleakness all the time or are there lots of folks out there who are happy as heck? Cuz when i hear of dudes like bordain offing themselves i imagine they are living feeling sort of how i am right now. This empty void like feeling. At least i have a reason to be upset, my life is kind of crappy, but when you are rich and have everything going for you and you still are not happy i guess things could be worse for me.

This is the longest i have ever gone sober in my life. (Besides my youth)

Today i woke up around 10am and feel really good. My folks are on vacation so i got the house to myself and i am just chilling. It feels so good not to have to worry about hearing my dad screaming throughout the day. He almost always has a meltdown every day. At this point though i stay with the folks because it helps them survive and live a comfortable life. Thinking of myself before has gotten me nowhere.

Anyway, i hope to be off these psychiatric meds by sometime next year and make a full recovery so i can get back to work and actually be able to do things i enjoy. I will have 0 debt by then pretty much. I guess life aint so bad.

Absolutely. I would have joined the air force more than likely. With what i know now it would have easily been the best decision in my life. It would have been an easier path than the one i am currently on imo.

I was expecting more gold when i read the title. Disappointed.

Have you considered just giving her YOUR number and letting her decide if she wants to date you? That is probably the most appropriate thing to do. She can get in trouble at work for giving her number out to you during her shift. Just slip her a piece of paper with your number on it that says you would like to take her out somewhere and for her to text you. Done. Maybe she will text you back, maybe not.

I feel that, save the work thing >_>. Right now I'm trying to get SSI so I can do just that (travel; I'm decidedly aromantic, and a possible sociopath really shouldn't be dating anybody anyway). I'm having some trouble getting an autism evaluation as an adult, though, but I share a ton of symptoms of Aspergers. I already have like two official diagnoses on my medical record, so adding one or more can't hurt my success prospects.

Yeah the folks are understanding. I get ssdi so i pay rent and my phone bill. I am just trying to be there for my folks now who are old. I do not want children and unfortunately that does not attract the opposite sex much because most woman i meet nowadays want to settle down and be stay at home moms and expect me to provide a lavish lifestyle for their lazy asses. They do not seem to care that i am miserable, depressed and lonely they just think that because they are my gf it will all magically go away.

Dude you gotta make friends with the staff or something like that to get on their good side otherwise theyll never give you free money. Dont expect much btw but at least you will get the best health insurance. This year i am thinking of getting my teeth fixed.

I am a bit manic cuz i have not slept all night. My bad man. But bro you should not feel bad if you cannot work. I do not work either and live with my folks. Not working and taking meds is hard, its like a job. My dream is to be able to re enter the work force somehow so i can make some money and travel a bit, be able to have a gf who understands my limitations etc.

I was just ranting about how psychiatrists will hear some kind of trauma and instantly try to gaslight you, same with therapists, as if they have not gotten picked on or gone through anything traumatizing in their life. Its all bullshit. I am not saying the traumas one endures are insignificant, i am saying as you age you naturally develop a thick skin and psychiatrists and therapists specialize in breaking people down and exposing their biggest weaknesses often times causing more damage than actually fixing. That is the business they are in, they are in the business of exploiting emotional trauma. Fuck them.

Have you ever been to group therapy? Medication doesn't help at all. It weakens you. Those with mental illnesses have amongst the highest psychic strength and psychiatrists know that so when they see someone with tons of potential they quickly put them on crutches and convince them that there is something wrong with them often citing irrelevant things like negligent levels of substance abuse and insignificant childhood traumas.

Yeah and their fix to that is antipsychotics and antidepressants so you can get a worthless depressing job and buy bullshit to keep you entertained. Both those things mess with the natural frequency of your body and turns you into a weaker version of yourself.

He's only two years older though. Having a big man who's as fast and capable as Ronaldo is huge, generally bigger is slower/tires faster/less eloquent with the ball. But Ronaldo doesn't have that issues, and if you can bull your way through people and stop them with size it's a big big deal. As a physical specimen, Ronaldo takes it. Because football is such a finesse sport, Messi has this huge leap up because he has that extra layer of finesse and has a really great mind for the game.

We're talking degrees here though; these are thin layers and what makes them different is approach to the game. You can't doubt Ronaldo because when he's on a team it completely changes them, same as Messi. Ronaldo relies more on his ability to bull people than foot finesse to steal for example, but their reflexes are probably pretty damn close, their eye is pretty close, their accuracy is near spot on.

Messi seems a more like a thinker and Ronaldo is more instinct. That's what I get from watching them play, at least and I don't watch a ton. Messi takes advantage of openings and circumstance, while Ronaldo creates them because he can bull people over, tall af for the sport so can nab headers and would make a great defender etc. It's a different style.
Messi is more a master of the art, but it's a sport and inherently physical and Ronaldo is the better specimen. The results speak for themselves.

It is an interesting comparison indeed. It is pretty cool that this era of soccer has 2 of the greatest players to ever do it, speaks volumes about one another. If one did not exist the other would surely be the goat by a landslide. It makes the discussion very interesting.

You could argue messi could have 2 WC right now 2014 was crazy close and 2018 france vs argentina was crazy close too, i feel like we got the final match way earlier in 2018 as france and argentina were the best teams.

I think in soccer physicality is not that important, as you can see messi is a fraction the size of ronaldo but seems to be the superior soccer player when it comes to actually playing the game. Like, if you scaled messi to ronaldos size messi would murk everyone lol both guys are good, messi is op with the handles and i guess cristiano is op as a fantastic soccer athlete. I think cristiano is older so i dont think he is gonna get any more opportunities at the ballon d or whereas messi has a couple more years at the top with no real competition.

Pretty much, there wasnothing wrong with myspace, facebook became the default friend app by chance, like a collective hive mind everyone chose fb over myspace even though myspace wasperfectly fine. When you tell them to google it they get defensive and ask for peer reviewed academic sources from reputable scholarly search engines knowing full well you can find scientific data supporting just about any claim because there is nothing inherently more valid than scholarly articles which almost always do not take into account how their intent influences the results. Scholarly articles are all bullshit, and universities are full of crap too, universities get accreditted by governing bodies of other students which have graduated from university and want a fancy administrative role to give the universities some kind of credibility behind them because at the end of the day they make everything up. Academics is regulated/mainstream witchcraft.

We have not been winning 1st but 2nd aint bad, especially considering argentinas whole strategy for years revolved around giving the ball to messi, if they had playedlike the spanish team doesof tiki taka they wouldbe abeast. Giving the ball to the best player actually worked out for them as a strategy but you need more than that.

Dude most people barely get by every month and live month to month, it has nothing to do with partying or making poor decisions, there are simply only a certain number of spots at the top, i think it is only 10% of the population who makes over 6 figures a year so you are incorrect in your assessment. Look at the wave of evictions right now, look at the housing crisis right now, these are not people who did not plan things out it is people struggling to survive and get by every month. This is not taking into account the mental health problems people face from the perpetual higher demands of worker productivity since the entire system is designed to make more out of less, then there are health related problems that occur as well throughout a personslife. Just because it has not happened to you does not mean it wont and given your lack of ability to empathize all the stuff that happens to people throughout their life like their parents dying or spouse dying or children dying...it makes no sense to have such a cruel and brutal system.

Its the unfortunate truth. The previous generation got to retire, but most of us wont. Social security will not exist for us and the cost of living makes life so expensive that you cant save for retirement.

It honestly makes no sense. How are you going to devalue the dollar at a disproportionate rate than living costs meanwhile the oldest generation become commodities for the youth to make a living off of due to their problems. I am also fairly sure the average person cannot retire at 65 to a senior home due to low income.

I feel like society should accommodate for this somehow. There is no reason why things like skid row should be real places.

I hit 30 this year. It was like a filter was removed from my perspective. All i give a crap about now is making sure my family is ok and figuring out the best way to make a decent income cuz i wasted my 20s and spent all my money and savings on my ex.

Gonna be real with you, see your doctor about your sleep. I know that I felt heavy depression for a couple years and it turns out it was completely on me not sleeping properly. Now that I have a cpap machine, I sleep amazingly, my mood has shot through the roof to the point where I'm actually sociable, and best of all, I actually do shit now. I'm half tempted to get back into streaming during the nights, which is something I gave up 3 years ago.

I do not think its my sleep though. How are you able to sleep with that machine over your face? You would have to only sleep facing upwards, thats tough. It must be really relaxing.

I do not feel good. I feel this dreadful gloom, been feeling it all day. This seriously sucks.

I am going to go take a shower and see if it helps me feel better. I swear it feels like i cannot do anything right. I have not had a good laugh in over a year

Dude stop talking. You obviously dont know much about the sport. The USPA and IPF are world renowned powerlifting federations, and their records are the gold standard for the sport. While its true you can say you broke a record, it wont count unless performed at one of these meets under their rules.

Literally only you know of these promotions. Lets be honest here, most people do not care about powerlifting, its in the same realm as arm wrestling. Those promotions are just made up promotions that only a handful of people know or care about.

Other than that, does anyone have any home stuff they can recommend, like an app or a YouTube channel? I have some dumbbells, bands, a yoga ball and an exercise bike. Maybe I could try stuff at home instead.

Athlean X is pretty much the best channel to learn about exercise. The instructor jeff cavalier really knows his stuff and does a fantastic job teaching folks what to do and what to avoid. Another great channel is hybrid calesthenics, its a young asian kid who is really down to earth that teaches you things you can do without equipment. Good luck. I can also help you if you want someone from here who knows what they are doing. I have over 5 years of fitness industry experience and have been training for over 15 years.
