There are so many options, how could you stick to one way? That's the beauty of pancakes :)

1. Classic - Butter and Syrup
2. Fruit - Strawberries, Blueberries, Bananas, Lemon+Powdered Sugar with or without Whipped Cream
3. Sweet Variants: Chocolate Chips, Cinnamon Sugar
4. Add nuts to the batter for some crunch (I like pecans)

There are more ways than that of course, be creative and don't be afraid to try new things! Life is too short, enjoy!

Thanks, good questions to consider.

We're actually long distance, but we visit each other 1-2 times a month, and call each other almost everyday. She lives near my parents. I've been trying to relocate to the area. She can't relocate because of work visa complications. She's in the middle of her green card application, which might take a few more years. If I can't relocate soon, the logic is that if we marry, she gets her green card in less than a year, and she could relocate to me.

I wanted to live together before we get married, but now, I feel pretty confident to marry her regardless. We've been through some up and downs, so we aren't just drunk on love.

Couple of warning signs here imo. Not living together, and her making a personal gain with this marriage. That doesn't mean you shouldn't get married, but I'd be real careful. I'd not personally think I would ever marry someone I hadn't lived with (or at least spent more than 50% of my time in cohabitation even if it varied from her place to mine.)

My guess is he is referring to the adaptive difficulty, and adaptive item drops. Prior 4, every game had a finite amount of ammo, and health items. 4 had adaptive item drops, if the game felt you where too low on ammo or meds, it dropped more. I think some of them also reduced enemy damage if you died to often.

Long ago there was a Super Mario Bros. (Or was it TMNT) cereal that I just loved and indulged on like no other. It was a rainbow cereal iirc.

TMNT was pretty much just Chex with Marshmallows if I recall correctly. I remember going it but that was likely just because it was TMNT, as Chex with Marshmallows sounds fine, but underwhelming.

I picked Lucky Charms as fruit cereals mostly suck.

There is no justification for the presence of the gun in the scenario as described. From my pov that is. Most of the world does not consider gun rights/ownership the way you do and thus to most of us, a random (innocent) person on the streets does not carry a loaded, fire-ready gun and thus could not shoot anyone with one.

Thus the victim should not have died.

My first job we had a tv with a vcr hooked up. Our VHS collection consisted of the following

Maybe a few others.

Unless someone was watching something else, it was always Emperors New Groove for me. I love that movie.

Second job smart phones where a thing, but not a ton of people had them, and if they did, they usually didn't have the data plans to support frivolous use on break. I'd usually read or nap if I had a short break or lunch. I lived close enough for most of my time there that I would just go home for lunch usually though.

I tried to get into RE through REmake 1 once, but got frustrated and quit (at the point where that one dude gets poisoned and you need to find his medicine).

What games would you recommend I look into if I were to try and get into it again? I was thinking RE 7 or the RE2 remake, but idk which would feel better for someone who mostly knows the series through reputation.

RE4 is probably the most accessible. 7 and REmake 2 where great, but so was REmake.

Being socially gifted while an introvert is honestly a nightmare all of its own. You end up being surrounded by extraverts and because you present yourself so well are constantly put in exhausting social situations or people just "don't get it" and you just wanna fucking punch them. There have been so many instances where sociability without being an extravert is a massive conflict and it creates a lot of issues. It's a combo people don't grasp unless they share it. It's very frustrating sometimes.

This. I do the same thing when people hang around restaurants and takeout places asking for money because they're "hungry." I offer to take them inside and buy them something from the menu and suddenly they're not interested or they have reasons why that won't work. You either directly handle what they're asking you for or you don't drop a cent.

This. If your concerned about the kids having food, offer to go grocery shopping with them, or just drop some groceries off or have some delivered if you don't live near by.

When it comes to grenades, simply pulling the pin isn't the issue. It's kinda the equivalent of taking a safety off on a gun. iirc, you can even put the pin back in. What activates the explosive device is squeezing it and then then releasing. And technically if it was actually inert, none of that would have been an issue.

Sort of. The pin holds the spring loaded spoon in place. You pull the pin while holding the spoon, and once you throw it the spoon springs, and starts the fuse. While you may be able to put the pin back in if you haent released the spoon, it is recommended that you never do.

disagree. Almost no one I know has a manual can opener anymore + a ton of cans don't require one.

Something like 25% of cans have the pull tabs. Manual openers are more common than electric, and in this story they clearly don't have an electric can opener. A 9 year old should know how to operate whatever can opener is present in there home.

Opening a can is a basic life skill.

The levels of canon is something that gets cited alot and imo tends to be misunderstood.

In practice, what it meant was lower levels of canon (such as books) were only canon if not contradicted by higher levels of canon (such as movies). This was mostly intended to offer a definitive ruling in the case of minor inconsistencies, but when something like TCW or The Force Unleashed is released, it means huge chunks of the canon, like multiple novel and comic series, become non canon over night.

If there were ever a Lucas sequel trilogy, it would never have respected the original EU. The levels of canon as they existed specifically allowed Lucas to invalidate as much of the canon as he liked.

It's funny how much people whine about Disney ruining the EU. It was never really canon. Lucas pretty much just gave fans permission to pretend it was if they wanted to. Disney has done more to make EU stuff canon than Lucas ever did, or would.

I don't know that I put any faith in the theory, but I think the idea is like any other detox. If you drink a ton of coffee for a long time, it will start to take more and more caffeine, to give you that nice feeling, as your body builds up a tolerance to it. People who smoke packs of cigarettes usually don't get any buzz off of them. In both these cases it takes more of the drug be it nicotine or caffeine to get the good feelings, if they havent developed enough tolerance to complete block them out, and this is replaced by feeling bad if they don't get enough.

Yes because if you bought it and it's taken down from the store then you are screwed. That's What happened with mvc2 and earthworm jim on xbox and ps3.

Unless it has changed, afaik any game you purchased digital on Xbox live can always be redownloaded. It can't be purchased anymore, or "found" on the store, but if you go to your owned games that are ready to install, you can download it again from there.

I'm all for digital on games. 90% or more of the games I play, I play online multiplayer anyways, so digital has no downside for me.

I'm fairly certain a great deal of "physical" game releases are literally unplayable without downloading additional files anyways.

We had real trees as a kid, and I loved the tradition of going out, picking it out, and cutting it down. As an adult I can appreciate how horribly inconvenient they are and am all about artificial. Our main one has lights, but is not pre lit. Pre lit suck, they are like the old tv's with built in vcrs or dvd players. For like 5 minutes of time you can string an unlit tree, this allows you to easily replace burnt out strings, use a different bulb size or style, or upgrade the string as newer tech comes out.

1. Dont try to name a milk shake a frozen betsy. Its stupid like baby talk between adults.
2. Deconstructed dont try to charge more due to a lack of plating skills
3. Selling anything under a widly used name that is not close to the item (callling an poached egg in broth egg drop soup) or selling rock lobster as main lobster, or saing you are using romaine lettuce but using iceberg)

Menus not having things that I can eat.
I don't like mayonnaise, raw fish, dark greens or eggs. You'd be surprised how many places I've been where I've struggled to get something on the menu because every dish seems to have one of these things that isn't a salad, and usually those come with heavy dressings (Only dressing I really care for is Italian).

Menus not giving full descriptions of items on the menu. Like is a burger they described a special mustard, lettuce, bacon, cheese. But dont say there is ketchup, but there is ketchup.
For solid things, to me it isnt a big deal, as it can be removed, but any kind of sauce needs to he listed. Though everything should be for allergy reasons.
